No in Europe Android is.more popular than iphone. Virtually nobody in europe uses imessage as well because of android even apple users dont use it. Everyone uses whatsapp. IPhone is most popular in US, Canada, Japan and Australia. The rest of the markets s Android that is most popular.

People buying 60 fps with a 300-500 dollar console will cause them not to buy a PC. This angers the PC lobby and they put pressure on the gaming companies. Manufacturers cant sell graphic cards, rams and processors and go bankrupt. They tell game makers, don't give 60 fps to console buyers, people won't buy parts from us. That's why no console will ever play all its games at 60 fps. Not allowed. The keyboard and mouse can be used. This is not allowed either. They want people to go and buy a PC for 1500 dollars.

Oh trust me the current gen is way more disappointing than 8th gen. I bought a xbox series x a year ago and honestly it has been one of the most disappointing things I've ever bought. The only real upgrade that it does for me thay i can watch KZread in 4k but even then i could have just bought a used xbox one x for 200-300 bucks cheaper than what i paid for my series x. Especially when i have only ever really played old xbox one games on it which other than fps boost (which is nice but isnt go out of your way to spen 500 bucks nice) run perfectly fine on my old halo 5 edition vcr xbox one. Pluse on top of this the whole spelling point of point of buying a ps5 or series x is the "4k 120 fps" promise which it struggles to do either, is completely pointless since i have a somewhat mid-high end pc with parts that make the 9th gen consoles look weak in comparison i can just play all of the new games on my pc at way higher graphical settings running at way higher framerates than what a ps5 can do. But long story short the 9th gen was way more disappointing than 8th gen.

Gaming mobile phones honestly make zero sense nowadays when the Steam Deck, Nintendo Switch, and similar devices exist now. Streaming through GeForce Now is not terrible on a good connection. The only mobile gaming I touch are some gacha games (playing as F2P) and emulators. Nobody in their right mind would spend $60 on a mobile port of a game. They didn't learn from the old iPhone era back when companies like Square Enix, EA, and Activision were doing $10-20 ports of games. If Apple wanted to be taken seriously as a gaming platform, they should focus on the Mac by adding backwards compatibility with old Apple software (Stuff that uses x86 or PowerPC and OpenGL), supporting Vulkan (Even if it's through a system-side implementation of MoltenVK or something), and getting Valve to make Proton work with it.

I tried RE7 on iPhone and I think it's impressive how well the games can run but I refuse to pay 20+ for a game that will only play on the iPhone I own - and that's on top of having to pay the Apple Premium Price of an iPhone. Impressive but not worth it. I would recommend this if we didn't have all these handheld PC game machines, but the fact of the matter is that they exist and I don't even think the iPhone is the best phone for gaming.

The problem I have with iPhone gaming when it comes to AAA games is that its not an immersive or comfortable way to game for something that is suppose to be your phone, camera, web browser and such. Plus the drain on battery life. Even with the best mobile controllers, you sacrifice a lot to just game on the phone. I would just stick with my dedicated gaming handheld for that.

Honestly I never saw the appeal of putting full ass games on mobile considering it'd cost you more to run it on a phone than a console or PC. As for the controller thing, I myself have one of those for my PS4 controller and I used to hook my phone to it and play emulators. I don't really do so anymore, but I find it far more appealing to get my PS4 Controller with the clip and play Dolphin and emulate GameCube and Wii games full speed, or maybe PS2 games with AetherSX2 (Before it got taken down), NES, SNES, N64 (Mupen64PlusFZ), Mega Drive, Master System, Game Gear, GB/GBC/GBA, DS, etc. Hell even MAME has a good android version. I'd much rather spend my time running emulators on my phone and getting a bigger library to access and games I'd want to play on the go as opposed to playing something like RE4 Remake on the go (I have my PC for that at home).

Ive never seen anyone judged for not using apple. It must be a big city thing. The biggest issue with playing these games on Iphone is that it's always going to be the worst version you're getting. Also Apple uses Metal and not something like DirectX or Vulkan. So it's something devs have less experience in.

In my opinion it’s a combination of engines that weren’t designed for iPhone and then not recognizing that phones will overheat on max performance. This could be solved by targeting a lower power sealing.

When you google Sony, you only get PlayStation results. This alone shows Sony is failing, because the reason the PlayStation was so successful was because Sony was a massive tech company, that could use their advanced tech in the PlayStation. Now PlayStation is just an AMD-GPU wrapper just like Xbox (Nintendo's Switch is an Nvidia GPU wrapper). There is no tech that sets Sony apart anymore.

It depends on the genre for me. I use controller for fighting games, platformers, racing games, Most Resident Evil games (RE4 Remake, RE2 Remake, RE7 and RE8 I use M&K for) as well as various other games where controllers feel more comfortable. But I by and large play games with mouse and keyboard. As for which controllers I use a USB SNES controller for pretty much anything retro on Steam such as the various Mega Man or Castlevania collections and outside of that my main controller is the Duelshock 4 as outside of the GameCube controller that's my favorite controller. Obviously I also use the N64 controller when emulating N64, PS4 controller when emulating anything PlayStation, Xbox One controller when emulating anything Xbox, GameCube controller when emulating Wii and GameCube (I use a Wii Remote too) and then the SNES controller for pretty much anything before the 5th gen so NES, GB, GBC, GBA, SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, Master System, Game Gear, etc.

PS controllers have features like gyro aim, which adds mouse-accuracy as Ive shilled to you. Which is a really good reason cause steam-input can add the feature to ANY game. The only issue is that the gyro needs mouse input to be the best and some devs never think to allow mouse and controller to be used simultaneously, and you can bind gyro to pure controller input, but it feels worse (other than getting aim assist, which is busted and borderline cheating), it's like if your mouse had potentially weird acceleration/deceleration, a speed limit and a deadzone. And it depends on the genre, but in general it's like 20-30%, but if you filter out boomershooters, it's like 70+%, even for shooters due to gyro.
