  I don't have a perm at the moment, but when I shower, I shampoo, then condition, followed by wearing a shower cap until I finish the shower. THEN (Finally!) I remove the shower cap and rinse -and my hair is deep-conditioned! But I don't know if that would work for permed hair.

  Is shea moisture for 4c hair or all curly hair types? Ive seen mixed answers since the containers don’t have labels or pictures showing the curl types it works best on. Also could it be my hair is a bit weak since SOMETIMES when i comb in the shower with a detangler and a conditioner I have a lot of hair coming out? Im thinking it could be from stress since there’s something happening at least every week.

  I think it works for all curly types. I think it would work very good on 4c hair 😊 if you only detangle your hair in the shower it could just be a build up of every day hair shed.

  You don’t seem to like the results of the blue rods but I think this is the most beautiful of all of the rods you’ve used because the curl is tight like a jerry curl but not too tight

  I wish i had ur hair, mine at first looked like coils but now looks like curly dreads 😭 any advice? Im afraid of styling it like this because it’ll probably not works and destroy the perm. Ive tried finger coiling but it did nothing tho i didnt have leave in conditioner .

  Are you using any product? It won’t destroy the perm once you wash your hair it’ll go back to its form. I would detangle your hair while in the shower with conditioner on it and use product like mousse or gel while styling should help with the curls pattern ☺️

  @@ApriLynn once i step out of the shower i start combing because i just hate the shower noises. I use detangler and styling gel (both from cantu), pantene shampoo and conditioner, and i even got a hydration cream and a diffuser but its like nothing i do prevents the frizz. Its like the hair isnt even part of a curl. I just dont get why i could be combing it and my curl goes straight for some reason? Its not even a curl, its a really weak wave :/ im just super disappointed tbh because my results are never even close to the ones i see.

  The Cantu gel might be too heavy for your curls. I would recommend cake beauty mousse and a styling brush I have one linked in the bio under items used in video. Using a styling brush really helps with frizz. When you brush it through part in sections and turn the brush so the curl pulls tight against the side of the brush then either lightly scrunch that section or take it from the root and shake it a little to get the curl texture.

  hi lovely thank you for the video! i need advice, i've always permed my hair myself doing the horizontal flat wrap method but now since it's way longer now (below shoulders) it's really difficult to flat wrap, do you think spiral would be easier to do all by myself? any advice would be amazing <3

  Aww thank you 🥰 Spiral wrap is quite easy to do by yourself ☺️ I always start in the back section first if I’m doing it myself. You’ll need more rods then a flat wrap though

  Ok girl I tried it again (boiling method on blonde extension) and I seriously have no idea what I’m doing wrong. So I purchased the exact same perm rods you have, I got coconut oil and she’s moisture conditioner (not the exact bottle you used but same brand) I even bought a mini fan to help extension dry faster. So this time extension didn’t burn or melt because I used coconut oil and conditioner…now the issue is that the extensions don’t keep the curl. After. Completely dry for a day next to mini fan, I add water and the curls fall flat and become straight never to curl back after dry. Like what the actual hell am I doing wrong?! Like how the hell is your coming out so perfectly? I’m using the same exact tools, maybe it’s the pan im using , maybe I should get a pot because I was using a skillet. Im going to buy a pot like the one you have and if that fails too, im just going to do the chemical perm method as plan b. Which perm brand did you use by the way? I know you said alkaline but what brand ?

  Oh no! I don’t understand why it’s not working 🙁 every time I’ve done it it’s stayed curly. Are you boiling it for over an hour? Maybe boil for 2 hours. I use Zotos quantum ultra firm perms

  Rubbing in with a rubber glove is not some thing you should be doing… You should be using a self tanning applicator mit OR even just taking the fluffiest cosmetic brush and blending everything in. Also, a brush or an applicator could absorb a little bit of the overspray, and you could be applying it on other parts of your body . But the glove is not absorbing any of it. It’s literally just spreading it around, which is why it’s looking like it’s not doing much but the overspray product
