How long do you wait inbetween perms? Does it do more and more damage each time? Is that way you keep your hair shorter? So you can perm it often without much damage? I have permed my hair a few times, but I started with super long hairs my hair had pretty much broke off to half the Length it was but only like 4 months after my last perm, I think it was the k18 my hair stylist told me to over use to keep healthy hair after perm??

I wait 3-4 months depending on how fast my hair grows. It causes damage like bleaching your hair but not quite as much. I keep my hair short bc I like it short lol 😊and I get bored of it when it gets long haha 😆 I always get bored with my hair lol 😂 oh no! you probably did over use the k18. I use a deep conditioning mask and if my hair needs it a protein treatment. my hair most of the time needs the conditioning more then the protein. And I just trim the ends to help keep it healthy

Do you always use the ultra firm solution? Ever use the kind that you have to use the dryer? Less harsh than alkaline and gives you the same results.

I’ve used other perms I like this one best on me. it gives it the firmest curl

how long do you leave the first solution and the neutralizer?

Up to 20 mins for the perm solution then rise it. The neutralizer goes on for 5 mins ☺️

Just did my perm again , went from white and grey , to all blue and happy I did .. maybe I will add yellow next

@@ApriLynn I went with an acid perm and the curl never seems as tight as I think .. maybe time for an exo .. but I love the dryer !

I am crazy about perms like you are I like the tight rods against my head and being drowned in the solution I love the smell and baking under the dryer
