Oh my god this video is such a lifesaver lol. I have over 200 hours into CK3 and still get confused on how titles are passed down, differences in government types, etc.
I love this channel because you have an amazing narrating voice and the way you present CK3 is so much easier to digest and understand. The only improvement i can think of is the thumbnails so you bring more initial viewership! Keep up the great work.

Great overview, I was looking for something like this. A small correction at 14:00: The county in which the building slot for the legendary building will appear is not random. The building slot created by this decision is a special building slot and each county can have only one of those (no matter whether the special building slot was created by legend or was already there at the game start, like slots for universities, mines, grand temples etc.). If your capital doesn't already have a special building slot, it will appear in your capital, otherwise it will appear in the county in your personal domain that is closest to your capital and doesn't have a special building slot, so if you absolutely want the slot to be in a specific county, you can control this by moving your capital or (if your current capital has a special slot) giving away the counties that would be closer than your target.

Great content - using your tips and my latest ruler made it till 127. unfortunately he couldn’t join tournaments at ~ 123 (even though he still had 84 strength). Just 3 more years…😢
This game is too complicated. It's not gaming friendly. You'll waste a lot of time and accomplish nothing. The game is not only full of complications making it harder because there's mechanics even not mentioned in the tutorial but also the game will screw you every time you start to make progress, stifling your progress and development then when you're floundering and the game has taken everything from you it will send an even bigger enemy to siege your castle. And when I say the game screws you over on everything I mean everything. These developers suck don't buy this don't waste your cash on this stupid game series.

Hospices (in a city) doesn't seem to spread restistance to other baronies of the county? Mouse over shows it only impact on resistance in the holding/barony itself. Stacking in Countys with lots of baronies doesn't seem to work anymore Edit: They changed it with 1.12.5
Any reason why your armies win fights despite being greatly outnumber while my armies lose despite being about equally matched, with a much better commander and knights? The only thing my enemy has is more men at arms, but they have no levies, soldier count is about equal. Meanwhile I have 39 advantage and they have 13. The game predicts a decisive victory but I lose hard. It just cost me my campaign.

This is honestly incredibly impressive! 10/10 gameplay, and your way of explaining without being annoying is extremely nice.
If you flay with female rulers and accidentally your heirs has kids with another dynasty, you can still save the game. Either get adoption as culture or if there is not enough time, try house seniority. Also try to make all your primary and secondary heirs sadistic. This gives you more... options... to select who will Inherit your stuff.

ive used the scandinavian elective strat with great success in the past. i started a new playthrough and only the children of my player character are showing up. in the past i was able to choose my best heir from grand kids, nephews etc. the only thing i can figure, this time i did an anglo-nordic hybrid culture and even though i kept the ting-meet tradition, i chose the west germanic heritage pillar... or maybe its a bug. have you ever experienced anything like this? i am not able to choose saxon elective which limits the choices in my dynasty to rulers legitimate children, and scandivian elective still describes "an heir amongst the ruler's extend family.."
Why does the hairstyle not show in game? For the Thor build the hair shows normal in character creation but for some reason my character has very short hair in game...

If you are really lucky you can get glass monument early game, and if you go to a pilgrimage there is a small chance for an event that will remove a bad congenital trait like lunatic, meaning your cnildren wont get the hidden lunatic modifier.

unbelievably impressive, quality editing. my only suggestion would be to slow down ever so slightly and put a bit more explanation into the rationale as to why you chose/did a few more advanced things. I have 2k hours over ck2/ck3 and even i was a little confused by a few decisions. great stuff man🤯
