    The video is incredible, but even it doesn't truly show how insane this actually is. The sheer amount of game knowledge, planning, trial and error, etc is just beyond comprehension. Mongol invasion spam to single life world conquest has been done before and is the meta for speed running world conquest, but those always end when the main character or first heir dies and everything fractures immediately. The fact he had 2 full lifetimes of complete security all before 1050 is just amazing

    You earned yourself a sub. I did not see the Viking to Mongol strat coming 😂. Same goes for using sanctioned loopholes for a claim on the Byzantine empire. Well played sir. I also didn’t realize the teleporting ability of the Mongol special troops. I love the fact that you went for the Saoshyant and Chakravarti traits. Absolutely iconic. PS I love the nod to Uhtred of Bebbanburg

    Also at 37:45, how do you get primogeniture so early?

  • @breadgodgaming

    @breadgodgaming

    2 ай бұрын

    Thank you for all your kind words :) Yea mercenaries and special troops teleporting is just so strong and versatile, I've been abusing this since I noticed it. By default the Byzantine Empire title has primogeniture succession. Becoming Genghis Khan is the only decision (so far) that changes your law to something you probably don't have (high partition is available after 1050 only unless you have 'table of princes'). So I went from confederate paritition to high partition. When you destroy the Mongol Empire title your law changes to the default which normally would be confederate partition. But in this case, the Byzantine Empire's default law is primogeniture. This confederate->high parition->primogeniture will not work if you already have high partition researched and instead your law will remain high partition. The Byzantines always start with primogeniture but if you notice the law changing to confederate partition, it's because when you conquer or create the title you only get your realm's default (usually confederate) versus if you inherit the title you keep the primogeniture, or if you do it roundabout this genghis->byznatine way you force the code to default back to primo. I found this out simply because I did this run so many times I noticed this happening and have always enjoyed early primogeniture since.

    Amazing video, you combine incredible gameplay with informative commentary and it’s a joy to watch. I learn something from you every time even though I consider myself pretty good (two world conquests.) Could you please do one of my favorite runs, world conquest as persia with antagonistic house unity (infinite kingdom wars)? Thanks!

    unbelievably impressive, quality editing. my only suggestion would be to slow down ever so slightly and put a bit more explanation into the rationale as to why you chose/did a few more advanced things. I have 2k hours over ck2/ck3 and even i was a little confused by a few decisions. great stuff man🤯

    Thank you for the feedback! I truly value it. I just got a new dynamic mic to record my voice so hopefully less static noises. I use audacity to edit the audio, but I'm not super experienced. I normally put my audio through: 1) noise removal 2) compressor 3) normalize. My problem also is I have tinnitus so I realize sometimes I can't even tell if the ringing is still there and I have to ask someone else listen to the audio. For the compressor the settings I have are threshold 14db, floor 40db, ratio 4:1, attack and release are at minimums. compressed based on peaks, no makeup gain. Any recommendations? Thank you for the feedback already and thanks for

    Awesome video! I would watch an entire play thru so you can better explain why you do certain things in a specific order. This is a great overview but very dense with info. I've probably put in 30 or so hours trying to follow this formula but have had several attempts fall short due to random events or doing something in the wrong order. But none the less this has been an eye opening experience. And I thought I was pretty good at this game but now realize how woefully inadequate my knowledge of so many of the mechanics of the game can work together. Thanks for posting!

    Thank you for the kind words! Any specific questions you have for me? This run is like my 30th run so I've had a lot of practice, I'm pretty sure my first few runs I only got like half the world. Also any wasted downtime means less chance I will conquer the entire world before I die so I have to be super focused the entire time. Also, I take breaks from the conquest part since it does get a little tedious conquering nonstop.

    @@breadgodgaming Do you have a guide to encourage certain traits over others? I used to think it was primarily your educator who has best chance of giving their traits but I have had games where my traits seemed to be very random. Trying this run through I found I was crippled by compassion trait one time. I try to get sadistic since it is a great stress reliever.

  • @breadgodgaming

    Like a guide on educating wards? Personality traits feel almost completely random. Wards & Warden DLC however can make at least 2 of 3 traits permanently passed on via the influence ward interaction, which is kind of pay2win/OP. I haven't researched enough for the new education system, but I'll add that to the list of things. If it's about a little tier list / guide on personality traits I can add that instead/as well.

    I was asking from the prospective of starting as a baby. Getting some traits can really make a run more difficult than other times. What would be a good way to increase the odds of picking up a trait you like. I always thought it was your guardian that had the most influence but I’ve had a lot more randomness with the new dlc’s. Events generated from others in your court like the regent or wet nurse or the clergy. Just wondering. Something I’m trying to monitor to get better at encouraging the trait I want.

  • @breadgodgaming

    @breadgodgaming

    Ай бұрын

    @@michaeloakley696 Ah then I actually don’t have any tips for traits as a baby, I don’t have any good data on how those personality traits pop up. My experience has been very similar to yours in the randomness. Otherwise, I usually select for the guardian who primarily won’t murder and secondly will most likely give me the best education. I haven’t found any updated data on education since they changed how it is calculated apparently, but I can’t imagine it being drastically different than the old version.

    Really great vid so far but would definitely recommend traveling to points of interest for lifestyle xp and traveler xp. marrying of your courtiers to get good knights, councilors as well as potentiality ones with good inheritable traits. Also would always recommend doing grand marriages since it gives a ton of lifestyle xp

    Along the lines of these tips: Going to University can increase your learning level, and earn you up to 3 learning perks. Going on a grand tour can earn you a good amount of prestige, renown, and cultural acceptance. So if you conquered 15 vassels in the Buryat area and then did a Grand Tour you'd probably have enough acceptance to hybridize rather than adopt local culture. Then you could keep longboats and varangian adventure techs.

  • @breadgodgaming

    @@Masochisto great suggestions! I only hybridize buryat if I get there under 40 years of age, otherwise I may not have enough time to hybrid with Greek / Italian to capture all the innovation progress. I don’t use grand tours enough so that could help a lot if I do try for buryat or when I’m going for Greek! Thanks!

    Love this! It introduces a whole new playstyle for me which I am dying to try out. I always always go French / Feudal and my playstyle is heavy intrigue and growing my dynasty through my daughters. Never ever tried tribal however what is it you do with all your sons? Succession has always been a bit of a nightmare for me, made easier however if given a tonne of daughters. It looks as though you've been gifted a lot of sons. What role do they play in this sort of scenario for you? Ive already began my run using your video and I've already been encumbered with 4 sons....

  • @breadgodgaming

    @breadgodgaming

    28 күн бұрын

    Thank you for your kind words! If I'm staying as a tribal realm, inheritance is tough because there are only so many options. If I can be fair, I will conquer at least a duchy or kingdom for them each to prevent the crown lands from being split away. If you have Royal Court you can eventually hybridize with Czech / culture with house seniority, otherwise you will need to educate your heir with a culture with access to house seniority. In most playthroughs, you eventually want your tribal realm to change into feudal anyways since feudal is stronger in late game. Feudal can easily get pseudo-primogeniture via elective succession so it's never a problem. I have another video on multiple inheritance techniques if you want to check it out :) Because this playthrough I use my Mongol Empire -> Roman Empire trick to get primogeniture, I land all my extra sons and children so they can have generations of their own. I want a ton of kids so I can have the best genetics program and eventually every family member vassal will be overpowered councilors (40+ skills) and/or 50+ prowess knights.
