    You're not the only one! I'm having the same problem after installing a new head unit on my Toyota. Both units look surprisingly similar with the airbag/hazard light strip below the unit. I'm going to try this tomorrow. So glad I found your video.

    @@frankiebosagri6863 so in my case it didn't work. It looks like the plug also carries cables for the hazard light button so I have to connect it to the head unit because it has that button. I tried to use a Y adapter to split the cable but then the car wouldn't start. It's back to the drawing board for me.

    Really impressive, I made a smaller board similarly from some re-sawn ash firewood. As a result it is full of splits and cracks! Was this one made from pine? I wouldn’t have thought you could use softwoods for a cutting board, will be interesting to see how it wears in! Great video😊

  • @kaukolaDIY

    When i bought this wood, label said, that it's Teak. But i'm not sure anymore. Color was right, but when i took it through my thickness planer, this nice teak color was gone. I think it's something else, something very that basic, like Pine. I don't know different woods at all 😁. And btw this is not going to be a cutting board, it's going to be a part of a table, which i'm working on right now.

  • @kaukolaDIY

    I don't have any easy solution for that, it should work straight out of the box. Mine didn't work. It took me multiple radio resets and battery disconnects. Suddenly, one morning steering wheel controls just started working. Try to press and hold reset button long enough, like 30sec.

    @joeparker6264 in my radio, upper left side is three horisontal holes, i think for microphone. Under those, is a small hole, that's the reset button. You need something small, like a pen, to push it. But don't push it too hard.

    When you said you were going to change the tyres, I thought you were going to change the tyres. Surely, the recommended tyre pressure should be measured when there is two tonnes of car contributing to the pressure.

  • @billriddick1020
    @billriddick1020Ай бұрын

    Did you really fill the tyres with air according to the specifications for the vehicle before they were mounted on your car?

  • @kaukolaDIY
    @kaukolaDIYАй бұрын

    Jep. I always measure the pressure, when tyres are "cold". After installation, test drive to a shopping mall to buy some dinner, and in the morning, another pressure check. Like i said, i don't know how accurate this Einhell machine is, but In the morning, i had to add little bit more air to get it to specs. I don't drive that much, but i check tyre pressures about once in a month. My car is 2011, so it doesn't have sensors in the tyres.

    same rims, same astra (mine is hatch). i used to apply fusso coat as protection and meg tyre gel on wheels. its easier to clean them in next year. but somehow as fusso is PTFE/teflon (or maybe no because of that) but mainly on car it collected more grind then without it. so i switched to ceramic or lite ceramic from meg. i am wondering how long it will hold on rims (i do complete decontamination, apc, sour schampoo, iron, tar remover). tyre gel on wheels holds up to 2000km for me, but next time i will try carpro darkside if it is at least as good as tyre gel from meg. i have 16" Continental for winter and 17" Falken for summer and somehow i like the summer wheels more :D but i go to replace them to service cause they have all equipement especially that one which spins the wheel and then he knows where to put or remove those iron cube stickers for best wheel "spinning". it cost 25eur "only" here 🇸🇰 (was the time 5-years ago when the price was 15 only) so.... why not :D nice video btw. mine tip is: change the stock open nuts (which shows corosion of wheel screw) for closed one (chrome platted, plastic nuts caps looks awfull) which pair with those rims color perfectly and wheels then looks more "clean". price was 22€ all nuts back then 5years ago, now are little bit more pricely (1.5€ each nut). good luck!

It is also hinting at what to expect from next shows ( more Chinese cars ).

In my version, radio will start first only, if i will do a full reset, but when i use Apple Car play, next time it will start in main menu, not in radio or Apple Carplay, i have to start Carplay everytime again. In factory settings is many settings, for example there i found a solution for my heating screen, which popped up randomly all the time. In the factory settings, i could switch that off. Might be, that you could find a switch for your sensor problem there.
