  You can only activated the elevator from the Zhentarim hideout side. Not directly from the Underdark.

  i already completed the fog rift catacombs before i got the stone sheathed sword. i didnt know what this altar was for. i just went back with the sword and the altar is eead. nothing here. so now what do i do? So if i give my sword of light to my buddy can i then take a second stone sheathed sword and get the sword of darkness?

  You meet her again in act 2 at the Inn. At least in nonDurge runs. Haven't found her in act 3 in any of my regular runs. Will have to look for her.

  WOW! I have to say such good work!! You put so much time and creating a character nobody will see, including the player due to armor and helmets. Man, I can't wait to spend hours and hours playing with sliders and NOT playing the game for the sweet sweet payoff of being hidden behind a helmet.

  Another way to fairly win the battle is to distract them with ogres, they will drain their abilities on them while your squad will deal damage to giths, calling ogres allows you to gain time for attacks with your squad and deplete the abilities of the giths, it is better to kill the archers first as they the softest and the fastest to fall, reducing the overall damage from the enemy faster, I came there at level 5

  there is an even simpler way to fight honestly, go first with your most proactive character at the beginning of the battle (a rogue for example) and use the darkness to cover your entire squad and hide in it yourself after that, this will protect your squad from attacks from shooters and demotivate melee fighters to attack you , until it is the turn of your characters with low initiative, they will also not be able to cast paralysis spells on you while you are in the darkness, after that it all depends on your tactics, you can deal maximum damage by leaving the darkness and entering it back and gradually killing enemies , for some reason even melee fighters don’t want to enter the cloud of darkness

  a fair fight is not difficult, you just need to survive the first attacks at the beginning of the battle, you can’t do without resurrection scrolls, when the gith discharge their abilities, use a robber thief with high mobility thanks to a constant additional action to remove them from the maximum distance from stealth with advantage and a priest of life located in a sanctuary and can't be attacked to heal and resurrect the rest of the squad, the first onslaught is the most difficult, then it’s much easier when they run out of abilities, they won’t even be able to catch up with your robber who will simply shoot them one by one from a safe distance and run away in hiding, when the giths stretch out and split up, some will try to chase the robber and others will take care of the other members of your squad it will be even easier to deal with them

  The Rolling Spark damage on the ground has been fixed as of Patch 1.12.3 RIP So you won't get the one-shot cheese anymore. But still an interesting weapon and combination to use.

  You do not need to defeat Relanna to get the ash of war. There is a way around it. I have it and I haven't yet defeated her. Also in my case this setup is not doing that much damage.
