Both nations death knell and howling blizzard can be obtained elsewhere as well. Nations death knell can be obtained north of Rest town. There will be a dude outside of the dilapidated fortress. If you escort him, you will find the tome in the building once you’re done leading him. For howling blizzard, there is a lady in the nameless village who will trade it for the Fulminous shield book. If you make a copy of the Fulminous shield book, you can give her the fake.

If anyone is wondering this is super worth doing. I’m only at about 100 hours but a main pawn sorcerer with both spells has blown my mind over and over. Warrior coming in with clutch stuns and the all the crap the thief steals is worth noting, but nothing comes close to the way sorcerer Herb just randomly DELETES large enemies like Drakes and Golems. I gave Herb Decanter and cover him in smoke bombs. I reduced his threat and increased my own through Augments and rings. High threat, shadow feinting rogue with a sorcerer main pawn nuking from down town? If you’re having wolf problems I feel bad for your pawn, I got 99 harspuds waiting to ripen.

Cant i just give her other books? Do they need to be that specific ones? For the Eini quest.

Have to be the 5 specifically named books. Some of them can be acquired elsewhere as well. But so far these are the easiest ways to get them.

Abrahim ripped me off. Paid a lot of gold for forgeries, wasted 4 days waiting and only got 1 of each back..

I did the quest but nor the girl or her granny gave me any books, just a crap stave :(

Never had to res anyone and quest says “come back in a few days time”. Nothing ever happens. Is this a bug or what? It’s misery. Just make a quest trigger without this crap maybe?

I keep hearing that you dont need to give anyone real books and can just give copies, have you tried that?

I gave her father only forgeries and it worked for him. never tried trysha, because i wanted her to have the real thing xD

The sorcerer cannot be given forgeries
