We had a 707 and it was a awesome chopper,,,,of course we was a small operation,,about 90 acres in SE Indiana usa. Mounted our silage boxes on school bus frames leaving the drive train minus the engine,,,then adding a power shaft to the front of the transmission that would connect to the rear of the NH 707,,,it had a out put connection,,,in soft ground where most had to wait ,,,with everything disengage put the wagon transmission in 1rst gear i believe it was,,,then increase rpms on tractor an engaged pto to run 707 an its aux out put would power wagon drive( large school bus frames with drive train.,) it worked amazing. We had only 2 wagons but both were built identical. We had to incorporate a farm wagon type steering with a tounge of course but if the ground was alittle , ,soft. No matter. Fill it up...and more u put in it better it went actually. Tractor pulling with a mounted 3point 707 chopper plenty of traction an wagons pushing,,,,,i miss the silage work. Has been alot of yrs gone by😢.

This was a fantastic video of a legendary tractor in its day. The Ford 7810 was the top selling model from the range back in the day accounting for a quarter of tractors being production. The Super Q cab was a great place to spend a working day in as I spent many a long day driving a 10 series with a Super Q cab with the last one being traded in around 2000 for a 40 series tractor or was it a TS My local dealer modified the floor mounted dual power switch and replaced it with a toggle switch fitted to the side of the main gear shifr lever. That's where it should have been in the first place. I noticed too that the bonnet catches weren't in locked position during the video.

While I agree the Massey 750 has a nice sound to it, that was the only good thing about i, I drove one for several seasons in the mid 90s. The one I drove had a power flow header which was a nightmare as the belts wouldn’t run straight, then there was that awful feed arrangement from the header to the drum some sort of paddle arrangement, not to mention the early form of electrical speed sensors which gave false information, oh yes back to that sound….. absolutely deafening in the cab when your sat in it for 10-12 hrs a day I’ve still got ringing in my ears to this day!! It’s safe to say this combine single handed but me off driving combines for life 😂
