We’ve gone backwards, the tractors used now are twice or 3 times the horse power, the beet harvester is twice the size, it all costs 3 to 4 time the money to buy and run, and all for what? an extra quid or two per ton-over what it was worth in 2003, 🤷 no farming was more enjoyable & relaxed going back 20 years and further
