Berry's art was always so beautiful. There were so many talented paleoartists, and a lot of the art gets flak for being inaccurate by today's science, but we have to remember that the art of the past was, at the time of its creation, true to the science. One thing I love about vintage paleoart is that it's history that recorded history.

Ironically a lot of dinosaur films were ahead of their time in the 20th century the Lost World (1925) depicts land living sauropods and hadrosaurs and even has a Triceratops defending its young.

I'm late to the game but I just wanted to mention how unbelievable I find Your work to be. Woow just Woow 😍 Can't quite comprehend that this amount of detail on a skull recreation is possible with 2d cardboard cutouts! it actually looks amazingly scientificly accurate for the 1960s the allosaurus isn't standing on its hind legs the arms aren't pronated the allosaurus also has lips overall 10/10

My wife and I visited here in 2003 and were excited to see all the tracks that were collected plus teeth and some bones. Then all tracks were outside and if I remember, you had started putting up the building for every thing. I have told everyone I know to stop there, it's worth the time. Great success now and the future

19:00 not scorpion. 19:01 100% scorpion They drag their combs more than anything, near constant ground contact. If they were in mud enough to drag tail, they'd be dragging their belly as well. Need 2 more lines parallel down the middle. The water dishes for mine (I've had over 2 dozen at once, only three now) are full of sand to keep their food from perishing in it, I know what it looks like for them to drag over submerged super fine sand. One moving in a straight line w/o an obstacle is pretty weird too. They stop, backup and turn as much as they go forward even on open terrain. I missed the second one initially b/c I was scrutinizing the first invert track. The second one is good. The triangle leg indentations are the clincher.

I'm curious, are there teams actively searching for Dilophosaurus, or do they take a more generalized approach to finding fossils? I've always wondered because it seems like in the time since I first learned of them in the 90's thanks to Jurassic Park, there's been stunningly little new information about them, compared to T Rex where new fossils are found very often.

How did a dinosaur become a chicken? I mean evolution or mutation wouldn't ALL the dinosaur chickens creatures have to continue or "keep" that change? Wouldn't a mate with the same evolution have to be found? at the exact same time? Where are all the in-between animals? Why did some "decide" to fly? or swim? With the humanoid species how do you know something like us never existed at the same time period? Oh and what's beyond the edge of the universe?
