I have a passion for 4x4 vehicles and this channel has been designed to showcase it! We currently have an FJ Cruiser and a couple Jeep Wranglers so most of our videos will focus around those for the time being, but who knows what the future will bring!

why couldnt the TJ come from the factory like this?
Super helpful, especially the black silicone and 3/8” washers. Doing mine very soon. Just got the delete kit.
Bad idea to paint it gloss black.
You are a goat a true MVP, worked for my 2007 FJ cruiser. I didn't have to pay a locksmith for it.
Finally tackled this project. It was a bit more time consuming than I anticipated, but got it done with the help of this video. I now have a light bar, ditch lights and reverse lights on toggles along with USB charging ports on both the driver and pass. side. Many thanks!
Love the chrome grill. I have one on my flame red 04 TJ. It's the only chrome on my Jeep besides my wheel center caps... everything else is red and black. I agree, it's a throwback to the old CJ's and I think they are cool.
I’m in the same boat…I killed a week over killing every thing 🤣
Very informative, I just bought my FJ on Feb 2023. Last edition. Thanks
For those who don't want to slam the door so many times, you can just push the door button located in the door jam until the last time where you leave the door closed. It's just faster and more simple.
Thanks you so much, i just did mine, works like a charm. Bought the part from wrecker, it was from 2008 fj and mine was 2010, then bought the key/fob from amazon for the 2010 model( the one that keyfob and key in single piece ) but didn’t get the key cut. I just use the fob,im still thinking if will get the keys cut so im gonna have a key and fob in one piece but im cheap Lol
Skipped the part where you have to move that ac line
I've owned mine for 11 years... and only just now found out about number 3 lol
Same thing we key fob… click twice to unlock everything
Ha… I just discovered my compartment on my dash. I needed this video… Thanks!
Hello appreciate your video, could you please confirm what silicone do you used or if you can put the link from Amazon will be appreciated
Damn, I want one of these.. This is awesome work @Dirona! Thank you for creating and sharing this video. 👍👍
Thanks for watching!
Generally I don’t like blaming owners for design mistakes. Jeep should have put drainage holes on the frame to keep the cars from rusting. But also, there are some jeep owners who think their car is the star of a bdsm film and needs to be beat up and destroyed. Why are you driving your car in mud? It is not going to survive that shit.
LOL. Mud sucks!
Hoping all is well and we see more videos again soon!
All is well, thanks for checking in. Have been very busy with non-automotive related projects lately so I haven’t had time to film things that this channel is based on. Hoping to get back to making videos in the near future.
Thanks for the video. Just did this and the cruise light comes on when you push the button but it also honks the horn. Any thoughts?
Are the contacts touching each other at the connector? I can’t think of anything else
@@dironaa Turned out to be a bad clockspring. Weird!!
You gotta punch it. Keep momentum and dont let off the gas ecen if the wheels are spinning.
Noted
i love how Toyota (i can't speak for other car manufactures, cus i've never owned anything other than Toyota's) have complete wiring harnesses hidden by cover plates........thanks Toyota.
Makes it easy for us cheap guys to upgrade!
Yup, mine too, good year wrangler dura tracks, 33x12.5xr15 , I'm getting 31.5" on my tape measure.
False advertising..
With a lathe or friend with one you could do the aluminum pieces in an hour
I’d like to own one someday!
Wish these prices were still around
Prices have slowly been creeping back down in my area. What would have been a 10k jeep 2 years ago is now going for 5-6k. Of course it doesn’t help the fact that the same 10k jeep would have been 2500 4 years ago…
Hiw did you drill the holes to bolt the panels together?
Drill one panel first, butt them together and transfer the hole locations with a marker, then separate them again and drill the other panel.
Thank you for double opening.
LOL!
Thank you so much! Just installed this myself, worked perfectly. Megazip had the part amazon had the key remote. 2014 FJ.
Great to hear!
Nice job
Thanks!
What about mounts
Used the Advanced Adapters mounts for this swap
Those had 4:10 in them
The jeep originally came with 4.10s but during the engine swap I installed a set of 3.73 axles to upgrade the rear dana 35 to a 44.
I like this video. I need to lower ( at least part of it ) so I can fish the wires from the lightbar to the dash. Thanks abunch
Glad it helped
3.9 would be better for a jeep
Why? I’m happy with the 5.2
Then you should swap rearend to a 8.8
Went with a dana 44 on this one, but my other jeep has a 8.8
In the beginning of the video you said you didnt like the TMR Customs crossmember but you were only using it because you already had it. If you were doing it over today (like me) who would you buy the crossmember kit from? Thanks! Also great job, watched every episode!
Hope this isn’t too late, but if I were to do it again I’d rigid mount the crossmember to the frame (still making it removable with bolts) and exclude the bushings on the ends of the crossmember, then use a single bushing right where the transmission mounts to the crossmember using either something like a UCF LoPro mount or using a YJ spring bushing inside a piece of DOM tubing (you can find more info on this at jeepforum.com). I’d also consider making the crossmember out of square tubing instead of round, but would need to think about that a little more.
Whole lot of whining going on!
No doubt!
Where did you get the abs plastic @
amazon
one detail for that kind of key fob 07 and 08: they have a huge amount of range the non of the new ones have. this one is when you have the panic bottom on you will find the car between many.
Thanks for sharing
What the puck??
Exactly!
Great video. Definitely will do the same. Will need mirror change out too.
It’s a good look. I made another video changing the mirrors that might help you.
I will definitely look for your mirror video. Since its been half a decade, do you know if there are certain year Tacoma handles that will fit my 2010, or have they not changed?@@dironaa
@@Faded14367 I believe I used tundra handles but can’t remember the year. There should be info on fjcruiserforums.com
Ordered a replacement switch as while other interior lights come on, my driver's side door light doesn't, and the original 2006 switch looks a bit worse for wear and might be the problem. Thumb up, thanks for this! I detached the switch but neglected to hold on to the wiring and it fell behind the door pillar, so I'm going to try to grab it with either a long pair of tweezers or some surgical forceps so I can bring it out just enough to hook in the replacement switch. Also, bulb I'm trying to use is an LED so know polarity might factor in as well.
It would be nice if the wiring harness on the connector was a bit longer. Good luck!
@@dironaa thanks! On a whim I went out this evening with a plastic pry tool and with just popping one plastic piece got to the connector. Should be all good to install the replacement.
@@dironaa just replaced the switch, fortunately popping the pillar panel made it easy to grab the connector and hook it up, all's good there. Now, despite the new switch, although dash shows door ajar, both the outdoor (under mirror) and indoor courtesy lights don't come on! Dome fuse (#10) is good. Posted on ToyotaNation forum to see if anyone has any leads.
I've had my 2007 FJ for about a year and a half and didn't know any of these except for the back window opener. Thanks for the info!
Glad to help!
I just bought a 2007 manual FJ and this video is really helpful. Thanks
Great to hear!
Really good inexpensive example. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you. I just drilled mine out today. Same place. And same size. Will touch up the holes with paint in the morning.
Great!
Very nice looks great. And what a relaxing sounding yard
It really is!
Good information, thanks.
Glad it was helpful!
I just change mine for the first time since new, 2008 with 207k miles. 😮
How did they look?
Just throw it away bro
Lol
Nice job. I'm planning to do the same soon
Good luck!
I have a 2009 4Runner, and I want to fully redo the frame and metal parts. My concern is the inside of the frame. Since this cannot be seen, nor can I clean it out properly, Im not sure how to do this so I can spray it. Because from what Im aware, you need to clean off the rust inside before applying any sprays - because if you don't, then you'll just trap in the moisture even more, rusting it out faster.
You don’t need to clean the inside if you apply an oil product like Fluid Film or NH oil undercoating. An oil will soak into the crevices and irregularities and prevent water from accumulating
