What a great question! I've made a series about how I made my most recent book of shadows, and I use the exact same process for my grimoire :) Its a 4 part series so you could definitely follow along and make your own as well! Good luck!

You should hammer the copper wire paper clip (gently) when you are done. That will “work hardened” the copper so it more sturdy.

Ive gotten my stamps from all over! The wooden ones Ive either carved, or thrifted. The silicone ones I have gotten from assorted online retailers, mainly amazon and temu etc. I figure if its a one time investment, and Ill use them all the time, its worth getting them from wherever you can! I just try to be careful to get ones that I know I will use a whole lot! Thanks for the great question! I should talk about that in a video sometime!

🖤🖤witchy tip,I use a dental metal tooth pick to carve my candle,its much easier than a knife!i also put the herbs into greaseproof paper and roll the candle after oiling onto it 🖤🖤

My best advice is to get notebooks you don’t care for. There’s like a ten pack of Kraft notebooks on Amazon that are very cheap, thin (like 60 pages), easily transportable, and just very easy to not care about lol. I find that I’ve done my best writing and grimoire notes in that kind of notebook because it’s not about “keeping it pretty,” it was never pretty to begin with.

It can be super daunting, thats a huge part of why I gravitated to the junk journal style. Since I made it myself, I know its something I would be able to make again. And I also feel less precious about it because its made from literal junk! I wish you luck and I hope you dive in. Its better to have ugly notes than no notes at all, That way you can see your progress as well :)

I concur! I could never work in a beautiful tooled leather, parchment filled book for that exact reason. The empty pages were too beautiful to begin with! A lot of my pages I need to cover up scribbled notes, or advertising for junk mail!
