I am LOVING this binding so far! Its the best of both worlds, a spine to decorate and flat laying pages to work on! I'm so glad you appreciate the concept as well! Just remember, a super solid glue is the secret ingredient! Good luck for when you try it yourself :) ✨️

It turned out so lovely. I'm in the middle of making a grimoire and decided to go for a deckled edge look, the good thing about it is that it hides sewing mistakes lol

I have used beads on the spine of some of mine - they need something in them, though - I made them for small cross stitch pictures because I was running out of room to display framed ones.

What a great way to store some cross stitch! I'm going to do some embroidery on the channel soon, so you may be interested in that when it comes out :)

HI Marina, thank you for sharing, so inspirational. Do you know of any other substances to use other than bees wax? I am fatally allergic to bees and very allergic to anything bee related, Including honey and bees wax. If not, I can do some research. thanks again for sharing.

That's a great question! I'm sure you could use parafin wax as well, but I cant speak to how strong it would be cause I've never tried it before! It might be worth trying with the end of an old paraffin candle! If you try it out, I'd love to hear how it goes for you :)
