Here after the big Juve win, as a Juve fan I have massive respect for gasp he's truly one of the best coaches
We need videos about Vicenzo Italiano, Thiago Motta, Simone Inzaghi, Alberto Gilardino, Igor Tudor, Raffaele Palladino & Ivan Jurić.
Season 2019/20: Atalanta - Udinese 7:1 Atalanta - Milan 5:0 Atalanta - Parma 5:0 Torino - Atalanta 0:7 Lecce - Atalanta 2:7 Atalanta - Brescia 6:2
👌🤘👊✌️
What do u think bout 4-3-1-2
With 2 full backs, 2 center backs, 3 holding midfields, 1 free man, classical 10, 1 fast attacker and 1 classical 9???
Gasperini like your second* vid !!
Playing defense is an art. It isn't always easy to defend the goal in the defensive third. That's why the best defenders leave nothing to chance when it comes to defending, playing proactively rather than reactively when it comes to defending the goal. Making sure the ball lies safe is the art of defense. That said there are areas of play where there is scope for creativity in defense. Such plays are based on sacrificing possession for robust defensive position. And once the ball is lying in a safe area getting back into the more natural positions of play. This I mention about, when it comes to defending the final third. The art of defense is more a matter of getting back into the game rather than giving away the play, because defense lies as a part of the game and not the purpose of it. It is rather a style of play just like one plays the art of possession or attack. The game itself encompasses all styles of play. Thanks to FM for a very well thought out video
I think changing Pochetino for a more complete Coach will do a lot better. He can't take Chelsea to that level
Bologna went to Champions League. Historical guys. Cheers from Italy ❤💙
He reminds me of lucien favre of gladbach not long time ago when marco reus was his starman
I have seen an exact review like this on FourFourTwo channel, everything word for word. Who is copying who?
My lovely formation... I won many games by using this formation.
Very interesting video <3 I already knew Atalanta is more and more a big club in Italy, with very captivating players, and presences in recent UCL editions. But, as a Sporting CP fan, this season we played Atalanta 4 times, in Europa League, and they were definitely a team that I kept admiring. Although we left with the feeling that we should've won both away matches (drew in group stage, and lost in the 2nd leg of the final 16), Atalanta proved to be able to impose a dominant and cynical style of play. Sporting was has been a joy to watch play under Rúben Amorim, but the 1st half of our 1st match against Atalanta was the most I've seen Sporting being dominated in many years
0:15 the key is that Sporting players are not positioned on the imaginary line parallel to the opponent defense.
They showed tactic today against Villareal. Not even scored 1 goal.
Pls a detailed video of the libero role 🙏🙏
Albeit he's mellowed down a lot since his Inter days his philosophy still requires high intensity training sessions and a complete buy in from his players to be effective. The slightest issue and whole system falls. Kinda like Emery, I think Gasperini can bring a mid table team to challange for great things with his tactics and philosophy, but will struggle, in big teams, to get lots of big personalities to do the same and end up not achieving the same levels
How come you pronounce Kroos incorrectly?
I can't wait for the final against bayerlevekusen
I mean yes and no…someone always covers that space
We did it! ❤💙 Champions League here we come, baby! Perhaps finishing in 3rd or 4th, not too shabby :D
He shouldnt manage a bigger club, just let him build a legacy at Atalanta. Its beautiful to watch.
what a masterclass observation from you. great content bro
There are some weird claims as far as formation goes. At 2:38 you say they play a 3atb system and you can clearly see Grimaldo on the left in the seventh stripe on the field. 12 seconds later you say they're a 4atb system (that now includes Grimaldo) and he's....in the same position? He's in the same place, but you claim he's not part of the defensive line, then suddenly he is? I see this a lot in football analysis where people just kinda of connect the dots however seems convenient in their explanation. Pretty much all the positional formations you showed are straight out of Peps handbook. They press out of possession, so does everybody...and you didn't mention relationism at all bar the opening sequence. This is just Pepball. Positional play with OOP pressing, maybe with more of a focus on overload to isolate??? but that's about it. At 9:36 you show the 3-2-5 that won City the treble last season. With the same concepts of allowing a defender to move into the midfield like you showed with Kassounou. The only real difference is OOP, when they can't get it back through the press, they resort to a 5-4-1. Bringing Frimpong all the way back into the defensive line, whilst City play a 4-4-2. Teams just don't sit deep like they do against City, yet.
You will rather adapt to me.
We have Alonso, Gasperini, Mota, they all made miracles with "small" Clubs this year...
Gasp made miracles for years.
Gasperini's been implementing & successfully developing this ultra offensive football style for many more years than just these 8 seasons with LA Dea! Most evident was with Genoa, when he took them to 4th place and gave them UCL season, more than 10 years ago. He's one of the main reasons (along with coaches like Sarri, Zeman...) who spawned many Italian coaches who play very offensively in Serie A, from Juric to Motta and. who knows how. many more in between, which made the unimaginable real = to. convert Serie A (and Italian football in general) from strictly defensive minded (and slow and. boring) into one of the most offensive and goal prolific leagues in these 10 years! And the things he's been doing with Atalanta, makes. me wanna answer ur question from the end of the video right away - I'd love to see him be at the helm of La Dea for many more years. Not just that he converted them into goal scoring machine, but also be great entertainers - I've yet to see an Atalanta match that's boring, even in those rare occasions when it finishes 0-0. And he's been present in Europe all the time (either UCL, or EL) with great success, sometimes even crushing teams with many scored goals. And all of that, with selling some of the best players each summer Mercato, but for huge amounts of money, which allows them. to reinvest. And along with their brilliant academy (one of the top 3 in Europe for years now), their scouting system is nearly perfect, so they always invest those money cleverly.. Just look at the last Mercato. They made over 100 millions by selling (majority was from 75 +10 for Hojlund), and then bought 3, or 4 new players for around 80 to 85 millions. As you've said it, his ability to improve the players, to raise their level of game and take out 110% of their talent & potential, is simply stunning (that's why I was saying that Hojlund needed at least 1 more season in La Dea shirt, possibly 2, to turn into a world. class striker, before going to Man-U, a club that puts its players down, ON A REGULAR BASIS - 90+% of their players start playing bad and getting worse when they get in that team). Last Mercato, when he decided to get Dr Katelare, I "knew" that he would. turn him. back to his best, but when he decided to buy Scamacca, I was so skeptical, thinking: "Why would Atalanta splash 35 million like that on a player who was quite unsatisfactory in West Ham - although I knew he played the 1at half of the season with constant injury, and then went on under a knife... - and during New Year, he was the same in Atalanta as he was in West Ham. But ever since January, and especially last 2+ months, he turned into a beast who can't stop scoring! And that's one more proof that Gasperini is maestro of a coach. So, I'd love to watch him keep on doing this (although I'm. aware that if he was doing that in Napoli, Milan, Juve... and those type of. clubs in England, Germany... he would've get many rewards.) He doesn't get constant chances to fight for trophies (that's why I'd love to see him this Wednesday lifting the Coppa Italia trophy, and as he said, the most important - EL vs Leverkuzen), maybe he'll never win a Scudetto, but surely, one day his statue will be present at Gewiss, Atalanta's new, renivated beautifully stadium! FORZA LA DEA!
Šteno, legendo!
13 on target and 5 saves = 8 goals. 12 on target and 12 saves = 0 goals. So, 8-0 to Team B But then you realise ... hang on, the saves/shots should be paired across the teams, so ... Team A: 12 on target and 5 saves = 7 Team B: 13 on target and 12 saves = 1, 7-1 to Team A
What about Trpisovsky’s Slavia Prague?
Bro please make video about pep and does pep evolve also
Chelsea have had by far the most injury’s in the league and to key players like James, chilli, nkunku ect for most of the season they have had 54 injuries in total second place on that list is Newcastle who have had 38 injury’s They also have basically purchased a new team of very young players it was always going to take a few seasons to get them up to speed of the prem.
You should have tagged De Rossi after dropping this master class.
Leverkusen fans here, come to check out the opponent :) Gasperini once took charge internazionale, no? but i guess he is that kind of manager needs quite a lot permission to shape and design the team.
I hope Gasperini returns to Genoa
Manchester United need a manager like Gasperini or Tuchel
very similar to Marcelo Bielsa
So different from the typical Italian style. Atalanta are the true successors of the Dutch teams from the ‘70s.
Great presentation in readily useful. Liked and subscribed!!
This EUL final has got me more excited than UCL final, honestly
For once, they don't lose an important match right before you post it
You have no idea how much I was praying they won 😂😂
A manager have long admired and baffled as to why no clubs go for him. Clubs just outside rich 7 Prem should go for him as very few coaches take teams from mud lower table into top 4-7 and then maintain it over several seasons. Eg De Zerbi now not replicating success .
He’s Atalanta’s Ferguson or Simeone. He created this club and put it on the football map. La Dea is his lifework and he should stay in Bergamo forever. PS. F**k PL!
One of the most underrated managers, team is so fun too watch
He is an extremely underrated coach, great man oriented pressing mixed with vertical positional play inspired by dutch football, he definitely deserves to win a trophy.
😂😂😂 we are all in finals in the last 2 years😅😅 yes we are weird🤣🤣🤣
Can you do a video about Arne Slot
Everyday, I come around your page and I still can’t find anything yet; not even a short clip about him… You seriously don’t know Arne Slot???
Too much talk about tactics. Atalanta players run a lot. I think that the clubs pays the salaries of the players on time and that is the secret of their success. As soon as a player starts to falter, Atalanta sells him.
Who knows what he's cooking for the final v Leverkusen
I don’t know…I just know he will remain in Bergamo until the end of his career…
