  They are free because they build the wall, and they build the wall to keep themselves free. Self reinforcing, circular logic. Hades is not the first despot to use it, nor will he be the last, I suspect. It's insidious. They build the wall to keep out "The Other", who wants what they have, however little. Uniting them against a common enemy, no matter how imaginary. All in the service of Hades' goal. Control.

Cause I've been waiting patiently for someone to finally do a Way Down Hadestown Reprise animatic for years (I'm 95% every song from Hadestown has had an animatic except for WDH II, which makes me sad because it's probably the most underrated song and is one of my favorites) 😫😩

  This is amazing although one thing, Luke's scar starts from the bottom of his eye and down to his chin. It's a common mistake that the scar goes over his eye.

  Can I just say I absolutely love how the stark white circle at 3:01 is evocative of a really harsh spotlight.. really fun callback to the stage as well as putting her at the center of her own storm. The frost may be killing her but by making that "choice" she put herself first & at the forefront of this story. Really rad imagery

  I absolutely adore how Orpheous is alone in his "phantasies" for the first two parts, but after he brings the flower back to live, Eurydice is with him lying on the feathers for the last one, sharing in his vision. Makes my heart sing to see the hope and belief he installs in her (and it all ends well and wonderful and I will hear nothing else). ❤

  Thank you for your creation and contribution. I sort of kin shigaraki (yes, i am concerned for my mental health) and my dog died recently. My dog dying reminded me of how much blood I really do carry on my hands. Sometimes, traumatic experience can differ vastly from their respective physicalities and form, but overlap in certain resulting feelings and beliefs. And I can relate to "having the blood on my hands". Perfect song choice and well made animatic. Thank you.
