Hermes is deliberately intimidating Orpheus JUST enough to give him something to push back against, bolstering his resolve so he'll get to Eurydice, knowing that he has to. Both if he wants the story to continue, and if he wants it to have a happier ending. Orpheus is a kind man, but he needs that push for that kindness to be tempered into courage. And Hermes, God of Travellers and Tricksters, knows it full well.

Wow wow wow! I was so happy to see another upload and it did not disappoint! I loved the real form of Hermes, very powerful. and at 1:56, something about the little touch of white on the flower and everything else being red got me very emotional. Incredible!

This is magnificent i adore it so much. Also the imagery of Hermes staying with Orpheus the entire time- was that a reference to how Hermes is one of the Gods who guides wayward souls to the Underworld? ALSO THANK YOU FOR MAKING THE GODS ACTUALLY SEEM LIKE GODS. Terrifyingly brilliant to behold with mortal eyes. Ajsjfkd. I do not know how to put into words how much i love this animatic. Oh oh oh and how Orpheus has an armful of food to give to Euridice only to find out shes dead?! Beautiful. Beautiful imagery and pain.
