I like that Hades doesn't kill her, because he's not the reaper, the closest would be Thanatos, who was PEACEFUL death. Hades is, among other things, the Generous Host. And there's always plenty of room down in Hadestown. Whether the conditions are better or not, well, that's a different story.

I love Hades' slow reveal while kind of maintaining him in the shadows, and how a previously completely illuminated Eurydice gets some shadows of her own towards the end.

The colorshift at the end is both chilling and horrifying. The way the shadows start falling on Eurydice, her exhaustion finally catching up, eyes slowly closing as she accepts her fate - it's absolutely haunting. Especially when paired with Hades' more charming movements, like he knows he's won yet another victim, he's not worried about losing his new songbird. You never fail to impress, good job on another amazing animatic

Thanks for the comment💕 And it's more resignation that acceptation. It's not a "This gonna happen and I have to accept it", is more "This gonna happen... who cares?" Eurydice don't accept yet

Nice work here, I really can't wait to see what you do for "When The Chips Are Down". However, I don't know these shots 0:14 1:24 felt just a tad unnecessary : I I don't want to be a jerk about anything, Its just felt kinda off. Maybe I'm just jumping to conclusions here. I really liked that you gave Hades that 0:21 slow reveal. I always imagined Hades wouldn't full appear until this song, because now both the audience and Eurydice are meeting him for the first time, However he still feels like someone in the shadows somehow. That 0:32 Tim Burton style pocket watch is outstanding, It is simple and outstanding, it is barley on screen for half a second but it is outstanding, I can tell it was partially based off a Greek sun dial, and you still got that obscure greek symbol for Hades (chefs Kiss). I love how as the song progresses the environment becomes darker and more shady, compare 0:54 to 2:02 wow. You said it yourself "3:05 Crows tend to mean bad omen, but also knowledge and in dreams they try to show you a truth that you ignore. The vultures, on the other hand, are a message of death and they always looking for creatures recently dead." Nice. Also at 3:34 you put an end card that read "Gracias Por Ver. Thanks For See" I do not know if Espanol is your first language or not but either way its cool. However just a note "Thanks for see" may be the literal translation of "Gracias por ver" but it is not grammatically correct in english, a better translation might be "Thanks For Watching". Disculpe. Overall great work.

First the nothing, thanks for the good things, I really appreciate it, and I gonna start working for that song the next week. 💕💕 About that scene of Eurydice, my sketches normally don't put so many detail beyond a lines, so I don't noticed it until I draw it (even the first was worst) but the idea was that it's from point of view of Hades that see from the top to the bottom as if he was looking a wounded bird on the ground. Which was connected to the next scene, where the point of views is of Eurydice lookig from down to Hades who looks to her like a scavenger in the shadows. I really don't want throw away this idea so I left it, sorry if bother you, I try to that scene don't look bad, sorry. And yes, that clock was designed to look like Greek dial sun. And sorry again for the last part, I was a little sleep deprived in that moment, y si mi primera lengua es español, thanks for the correction. 💕

Holaaa solo queria decirte que me encantó tu animatic, es de mis canciones favoritas de Hadestown y tu la has sabido representar muy muy bien a diferencia de otros animatics, soy la cuenta de Lucía Tores jsjs, me encantan los detalles de como el que esta realmente sombreado de negro es Hades, dandole su aura divina oscura característica y la forma en la que dibujas a Euridice se me hace hermosa☺️
