Well, hope ur dental exam went well! Be sure to come back for more when ur done with exams aha
This is so helpful, thank you guys so much! With tests, are they multichoice and structured answer or just multi-choice? And as a Cambridge student, how did the mcqs compare/the workload/difficulty of questions?
"we got to get the family out of the way" - being your patients family would be scary
Hahaha SEE YA FAMILY🫡🫡🫡
hi Harry i'm a big. thank you for making great content they are very informative and really entertaining. i would really like it if you could invite some guest who got into med through UTAS and MAPAS etc. thanks
Hey! I'm glad you found the content useful. I have already reached out to some MAPAS and students from alternative entry schemes to interview however most of them has turned down my invitation. Welcome to shoot me a dm on instagram if you know of anyone who's interested, I'll be keen to touch base.

@@HarryTheAdventurer yes, love it! 🚀
Great watch as always Harry!
Thx for the support!💪🏻
Thanks for the comparison, can tell dental has more working life balance than being a doctor!
Ahaha ikr 👀lowkey considering a career change👨🏻⚕️➡️🦷
Awesome vlog Harry, I was scared you wouldn’t have much to upload during your break year but that was awesome, really cool seeing you trying different things and being able to show your experiences.
Haha this is probably my only medical-ish vlog for 2024 - tried my best to make it as enjoyable for you guys as possible and I appreciate the support Dalton. Thanks for watching yo!!
Hardest thing about medical school is GETTING into medical school lmao😅
Bruh you have the same oven as me, alright cool, but then I saw you also have the same toaster lol
Hahaha what a coincidence. I don't use the oven and toaster very often though!
thank u for this advice bro
You're very welcome!
I also switched to programming. I wish my dad would support my passion like this. Someone knows his passion in early age and stick with it is lucky.I started in late 20s, never regret,
I'm glad it worked out for you!
Once again, thanks for having me on :) Glad you got that word, "patronising" in there.
Hope this useful to anyone out there.
Awesome having you on buddy. Great insight and I certainly took away a lot from this conversation.
That pay is a joke
Beavis and butt head Asian version 😂😂😂💀
Rather than insulting others, some constructive feedback would be nice.
Loved being on, Harry. Thanks for having me :)
Considering a career change… 👀👁️

Interesting 😮
This video helps me a lot
The lord bless you
God bless you too!
❤
Such a thoughtful and transparent chat! Loved listening to this one
Yo haha I appreciate the support Adam!
I had a senior Doctor say to me the notion of work life balance is false within Medicine, especially surgery. He cited consultants who quit medicine to become authors or other professions due to the unrelenting on call roster or other pressures. I believe it has to be a calling to enter this field, not simply a path to follow due to ones academic prowess or family pressures, you have to hold close YOUR why, to bear any how.
Very wholesome advice Benjamin - thank you!!
@@HarryTheAdventurer one thing I’ll add, is some of the specialties notorious for poor work life balance are the ones in which you generally see people move into general practice or other clinical/non clinical roles without constant night shifts. For each has their own tolerance and capacity for work at a given point in their life, however the old adage he or her who sacrifices their health for work will soon have neither health nor work” keep up the great content!
@@BenThomas089 wise words, great quote too aha - and yes, will keep publishing content and thanks for the support!
My guy 🙌💯!! This is awesome, this video is very informative. I'm watching from South Africa, I also want to study Bachelor Of Science majoring in Biomedical Science so that I can get into the University Of Auckland Medical School.
Thank you for the support and I'm glad you found it useful! All the best for your med school journey!!
How to become, medical receptionist, can you tell me ,I’m a international student?
Hey! As long as you have some customer service experience you should be able to apply - bear in mind the amount of hours you’re allowed to work as an international student though.
@@HarryTheAdventurerthanks for your reply ❤
Interesting 😮😮😮😮
sheeetttt you did it again. What an epic intro hahahaha
Loving these episodes so far :)
🔥💙
I would love to see what you think about the different specialties, especially in new Zealand. maybe a best specialties or worst specielties video or something like that?
Hmm good idea, I'll try get some senior doctors onto the show to see if we can have some insights from them since I'm still relatively early in my medical career and don't think I'm qualified to make any judgements aha.
Honestly such a good talk, Harry is like my favorite youtuber and is soo interesting, love this video and keep up the amazing work!
Wow, thank you Dalton and yup - the episodes will keep coming!!
Is there scope of bds abroad like uae uk us or just a waste of money?
Hmm, not too sure as we are based down under in Australia and New Zealand!
Hey can you tell me the avg dentist salary in us australia and newzealand?
