KClassScienceChannel

KClassScienceChannel

K-Class Science Channel was created to help those who need something more than textbooks and classrooms to understand, or to help illustrate, high school science, specifically grades 6th-12th.

We have hundreds of concise videos that explain Physics, Chemistry and Biology concepts effectively, and have proven a boon to several groups of people - both homeschooled and school-going students, and mentors, tutors and teachers who like to have an edge while teaching.

The videos in this channel, while being a complete experience unto themselves, are only a part of our flagship e-learning product, "K-Class", the curriculum-mapped educational package. It includes assessments as well as other subjects needed for K12. K-Class is currently used by over 7,50,000 students. K-Class can be purchased on DVD, or bundled with K-Yan, our proprietary computer-projector hybrid, which makes it super-easy to use in classrooms.

All oxides do this due to the electronegativity of oxygen? I'm confused as to how there wouldn't be instances where the oxide simply wouldn't disolve at all. Something like lithium would disolve while a less electronegative metal, like iron, wouldn't (or if it did, it wouldn't dissolve as readily and require a higher ratio of water for each interval of the metal oxide). I'm trying to figure this out because magnesium oxide is an incredibly inexpensive source of magnesium (it's essentially ash, so I'd imagine a lot of industry produces it as waste product) and taking it orally is a mixed bag of information regarding its bioavailability. This seems especially so for pill forms of MgO as they have to break down into a powder to dissolve fully in the gastrointestinal tract.

Perfect video but unfortunately due to my limited knowledge I cannot show this to anyone because it may develop misconception about Newtons and Grams. Can you please clear me on Why you are using the grams to measure the force instead of Newtons?

    Q. Could you explain……..Is this why the seas is rising? Eg. Ships, jetties, man made islands, subs, oil rigs, tunnels, underwater volcanoes, sunken ships and cargo, cliffs collapsing or would it make NO difference? Or is more ice melting than all the weight put together… how could anyone even measure all of what I described? They would just be guessing..

The molecules don’t begin to move when heated. They always move. There’s also nothing free about that movement. In fact, “heat” is the measure of the volume of periodic molecular/atomic collisions experienced when contact is made with the matter whose temperature is being measured. It is the increase in these collisions, i.e. the increasing lack of freedom of the movement, that causes the matter to expand as molecules are being pushed out from all the collisions.
