It's bad enough that you put episodes behind a paywall, but this educational episode on history and movement building being behind one is simply untenable. I fully understand having a Patreon, but so many creators who aren't even doing explicitly leftist information don't put episodes behind a paywall and still do fine. Some even do that while also managing to not take sponsorship deals. I hate to say I think this may be the straw that breaks the camel's back for me on this content. I didn't complain about ads and sponsored segments. I grumbled but wasn't upset with joke or just reacting to the news episodes being paywalled. I even stuck around when for all real intent and purpose First Thought was cancelled because that wing wasn't "profitable" enough so a pivot could be made to purely algorithm-friendly content and a new channel to be the zillonth "here's how to get famous on KZread" channel to get money to pay for the whole office floor JT leased out. Truly a shame because the news summaries in First Thought were some of the more uniquely and genuinely beneficial videos put out for the community. But now you're strongarming subscriptions by hiding critical information related to actually helping people see the benefits and pitfalls of previous movements and what you can actually, practically do in your community. All we get for free is "Join the DSA or ACP" I guess. I've unfortunately seen other creators do this when they became successful enough. I always hoped that being willing to do things like lose Nebula money meant principles will come first. Now I have to question if that's even the real reason you decided to part ways with Nebula.

I don't expect most people that didn't go through "higher" education to know the guy. It's not all obvious for me what counts as a 20th century western classic from an American perspective because there might as well be a few authors that do not count within the American canon that were thrown into the same German class (Dürrenmatt, Hesse, Mann for example).

Our state fair is half carnival stuff and half live stock competition, auctions, sales, titles are ewrnws by man and beast, connections are made. This is for building community, creating a secure local economy and food security
