  I boycotted and pulled all funding to the BMA during C. Bedford's tenure. The institution became a DEI disgrace.... especially when a BLM banner was hung from the facade. Too bad such a great institution and collection suffered under poor leadership... and it looks like it continues with career obsessed leadership. Boycott BMA!

  TAWNY CHATMON!! Saw her big piece in Asheville Museum of Art and had to sit down and spend at least 40 minutes with it. Will remember it always - huge impact - and thank you so much!!   I think it’s very strange that neither lecture makes mention that Gris was an anarchist. The initial mention of Gris calling Picasso master, when he did not believe in masters…was more than likely him taking the piss. And also the comment that the piece with “kings executioner” and the shape of a guillotine…it’s pretty on the nose.

  Key sentence that he said you look at a blank canvas, look beyond it and that in gazing at it again , a kind of continuity materializes, to quote what he felt to start, the mark making. Basically for me it is as if reaching out to outer spaces which are in constant movement 🤔.
