A Midsummer Night's Gala: A Conversation with Asma Naeem & Thomas James

Ойын-сауық

Join us in the BMA Sculpture Garden on Sunday, June 25 for A Midsummer Night's Gala, an art benefit supporting the BMA and The Last Resort Artist Retreat in Baltimore. Tickets and sponsorships are available at www.artbma.org/auction.
In this conversation, the BMA’s newly appointed Dorothy Wagner Wallis Director Asma Naeem joins The Last Resort Artist Retreat's Executive Director Thomas James to preview what's in store on this special night.
Against a stunning backdrop of modern and contemporary sculpture, guests will sip cocktails mixed by Maryland Mobile Bar and enjoy dishes by H3irloom Food Group inspired by the theme of a summer evening in Baltimore. The highlight of the night will be supporting brilliant artists with strong ties to the Baltimore region through a silent auction featuring works by Derrick Adams, Jabari Jefferson, Jamaal Peterman, McKinley Wallace III, Kyle Yearwood, and more.
Tickets and sponsorship purchases provide essential support to the BMA and our mission to create a museum that welcomes our community and uplifts the work of artists. Auction proceeds will directly benefit The Last Resort Artist Retreat, a Baltimore-based residency that offers space for Black creatives to rest and recharge.
