I am an Aussie & will ALWAYS recognise Michael and the band as our best export (imo). Michael was special on another level...an epic performer, super talented song-writer...and an amazing deep caring soul. It pains me to read that he didn't think so. How wrong he was. FOREVER in my heart. Simply irreplacable. 😢❤❤

Couldn’t agree more, Bob D. was bitter about losing his wife and wasn’t about to lend an olive branch to Michael the day he died. I blame Bob D. for his nasty unkindness to our Michael by not giving Michael his daughter. Bob D. I’m sure is still messed up over all of this. It’s a shame !!

he wrote all music for Bono, record company didn't like it for inxs, Tina you were not so close a you say or thought you were only got a check to get support and living expences, Paula and the whole family was a set up for him, when he realized the baby was a check for Bob and Paula he left

Yeah, I don't think many were as close to Michael as they say and in 1997 Simon LeBon said horrible things about Michael's helping Paula. However, where do you get that Michael wrote the music for Bono? I never read that and Andrew made the melodies. What did you mean by the baby was a check for Bob and Paula?

And Tina oddly sided with the slimy Gerry Agar in her books. I liked some of Tina's books - like her talking about Michael's childhood. However, its obvious she wasn't close to him as an adult and for whatever reason she sided with his enemy Gerry and echoed the fake drugs stories the press were pushing. Most tellingly is that she didn't even know the truth about the fake drug bust. I wonder if Gerry had something on Tina - like perhaps the real reason "Paula" wouldn't forward her messages to Michael was because Michael thought Tina called the press on him a lot. That's one of Rhett's theories. However, Rhett clearly wasn't liked much by Michael and he hadn't even seen in for 11 months prior to his death!
@lilifive67192 ай бұрын
The truth about the "drug bust" - There were literally no drugs found and the police found that Gerry lied when she said she called a drug hot line before throwing what she thought were drugs out in smarties tubes. A few days later, gave the police opium she said she got from the house but forgot was in her pocket. It only had her finger prints on it. Even the Nanny said she didn't know of any photos - Freelibrary article "Paula I can't take it anymore" - Anita says she knows nothing of any photos. Add to this that the police knew Gerry lied about finding photos under the bed, because Paula and Michael slept on a futon on the floor and Gerry and Anita withdrew their statement. The damage was done though - the headlines were "drugs tested were real, drugs in smarties tubes reported, sex photos with drugs". In truth the police said they felt used.

@amc8118 Yeah, probably. 😀 As a teen, Inxs was one of the most popular bands, really springboarding off MTV. I think they were an incredible band who wrote tons of hits. But that sentence about last "true" rock star just kinda got my attention. I mean, really, Paul McCartney is still around. I would place that moniker on Paul waaaay before Hutch. Is Hutch even a "rock" star? I would say one of the biggest pop stars of the 80/90s.
