That webcam idea is so smart! I used to sit in front a full length mirror with a makeup mirror on a chair behind me. Also, I love the idea of using bookmark patterns for headbands. Thanks!

Thank you!! That's also a very clever strategy! I asked on reddit for any other tips and a lot o people recommended a barbers mirror to see your head from multiple angles. Really considering getting one in the future :)

I love the idea of handknit gloves, but I think the fingers might break me. And I live in the subtropics, so I have very few days a year where I would be able to use them anyway.

Aah yeah hahah the fingers are definitely the most challenging part. Perhaps (if it suits your taste) you could try knitting lace gloves, there are a ton of stellar vintage patterns available for free online :D

Your hair is very beautiful, though as far as I have seen in your podcasts I would have expected the beads to be green! I am amazed always by people that can actually change a pattern to fit their style as you do with your tee... have a very nice holiday, and please be very careful before using weird chemicals on your bare skin, even after you have diluted them in water.

Ah yeah I do tend to lean much towards greens, would actually be really fun to do sometime I think :D And thank you so much for all of the kind words and advice! The bottle said its for wearables and to rinse thoroughly -- I tested for allergic reactions and it seems to be fine after using a couple of times :) As for my holiday, it has been really good so far, I got a lot of well needed rest and I'm excited to get back home feeling refreshed :D

Instead of the Kitchener stitch I use a variant called the Finchley grafting. It is done on the wrong side of the fabric and it is so much easier. Roxanne Richardson has a video on the technique 😊

I had shoulder pain with English knitting. I am knitting continental now. It’s so much better. I had rowing out with combination knitting as well.

Totally agree :D I now make way less movements and my shoulder is really thankful for it :) It has been a couple of months now and the rowing out has become less as I try to get my knit stitches a bit tighter -- hoping to having that mostly fixed by the end of the year :)

Hello Seji, I've also been scam on Etsy. I bought two sewing patterns and discovered that it was AI generated. I'm just happy that there were not expensive. Etsy is not what it use to be. There is more and more dropshipping items and scam on it. It's really sad to see.
