Insanely dumb how Lewis makes a nuke, kills like 20 soldiers and decides not to make any more. What a waste.

going back through these civ games they really never learn lewis rarely goes for domination from the start he only starts going for it because rythian/duncan or pyrion/duncan team up from turn 20 to take out lewis because "hes ahead and gonna attack" which ruins his science and culture so he really can only go for domination then as soon as lewis knows thats happening like when ben and rythian put troops on the borders he makes an army then they pretend that him making his army in response to them is him threatening them then they will whine and complain that lewis is too powerful and that hes a warmonger when out of every civ game he only declares war like 1 time at the end every other time he get war declared on him it literally happens every game they always gang up on him and then cry when they lose its so fucking annoying

Because the longest, slowest gamemode wouldn't make great content, they are much better at the faster paced gamemode. But just to see how everyone works, I really doubt they'd be better at longer games. I however, only play long games, I'd suck in short games.

Genuinely best game of civ I’ve seen from the yogs in nearly a decade,rythian played this well and they all made smart decisions,even Kirsty who’s fairly new to civ is now clearly as good as the regular crew especially since she started in tundra and only had 3 cities,wouldn’t be surprised if she plays in the next civ games she gets a win

What a great series! The Giga Alliance actually rose up and managed to really push Lewis back, Daltos' increasing understanding of the game comes more and more to show and pressures the other players (Lewis in particular), Kirsty is a nice wildcard in the otherwise established player setting holding up her own very decently to the point she was a real contender in the end, Duncan (involuntarily) shook things up slightly by not hard double-downing on tourism/culture, Rythian participated in the Giga Alliance and pulled his weight on the seas and causing Lewis a lot of trouble by plundering searoutes! Would really love to see you try out "Old World" again. It's a bit more complex than CIV but I think given enough time you would enjoy it.

AND NO CULTURE VICTORY!!! this was a GREAT series to watch, the giga-alliance was incredible! props to kirsty too, for holding her own, and even had her own front against lewis... justice for stealing those islands lol...

Best game since Datlof. Definitely agree with Lewis that him rambling like he's narrating a singleplayer lets play does usually make it more interesting to watch than sneakily winning, but if everyone did that it'd be a total audio clusterfuck lol.

This is one of the top civ games for sure. Loved it. Hearing the usual salt but having kirsty laughing in the back ground really helped me believe the salt wasn't actually a mood killer. Rhythian congrats ! is that the first time? I cant actually remember this happening before. So entertaining seeing everyone play for the win. let this be a lesson that early war is always the winning play xD

I am frustratingly reminded of playing larger group games of Magic with fronds. Got one that will regularly focus another, regardless of board state. The fact that most of my 'regular' group don't play the table is its own type of maddening.
