Daltos getting to continue as a terrorist insurgency in Duncan's land is somehow fitting for his play style.

Thats a great mechanic, lets even "dead" players still do stuff if they want to stick around.

@@Techstriker1 Also really penalizes the war like civs. Because tbf that bloodlust thing Duncan has (if he understood it ie read it) is super strong. Would love to see a more indepth system of being a nation in exile and doing guerilla stuff in some game.
Duncan wondering how he's supposed to get rid of Dalto's culture, while completely ignoring his culture AND crystaline goods edicts. Thats the yogscast for ya

Duncan in general just doing what he wants to do instead of doing what he needs to do and not understanding why it falls apart for him :P
It's only weird that Daltos is still in from the perspective of how games usually work. But, if you think about how conquering actually works, those people are still alive, pissed off, and ready to rebel. So, it makes sense that he can still use guerilla tactics. I like that change to the genre, tbh.
I love the idea of the ghost of Daltos being a gremlin in Duncan's empire, sabotaging and whispering rebellious ideals into the ears of the conquered
Daltos' AI is just Simon's voice saying "See if you can find a planet"
Gah! These videos are so good! Having a game *designed* around 1 hour, instead of trying to shoehorn a 500 turn game into 60 turns, is very fun to watch. As they figure out the multiple paths to victory, like Duncan that only fought people because he could, hamstringing his empire in every other way, finds out "You definitely need some voting power in this don't you", as everyone else gets to vote for victory conditions. Another 1 hour match of this, having learned, would be amaaaaazing!
You don't need to send trade back. Both players just get the credits. You probably don't want to send trade to the person winning either lol. EDIT: Also for Daltos complaining about imbalance. Duncans faction does not build ships faster. He can buff them and get a lot more troop power. But Daltos faction actually gets a card for more munitions. Eg Daltos should have had the advantage in numbers. Definite skill issue there I am afraid.

I do think faktor looks at fleet power when he talks about ship number though

You do need to send the trade back, once two players use a trade card on each other they both get credits based on their trade value. That's what the incoming/outgoing convoys widget is there to keep track of.

It is literally always a skill issue with Daltos. Duncan is second worst for this, but Daltos beats even him by miles when it comes to blaming his own incompetence and misunderstanding of basic mechanics on game balance.

think it's literally their first game and most of the skipped the tutorial. from what I'm hearing Daltos probably misinterpreted fleet power,= munitions, so he thinks Duncan has 200+ munitions which would indeed be crazy.
I understood the joke before you had to explain it Rythian. I got a chuckle
Defeated players still getting to do SOMETHING after they're conquered would go a long way to stopping people being so passive about finishing wars in these games. I kind of like the idea.
It might be cause I'm mentally and physically exhausted, but Rythian saying "Coggers" made a giggle
Daltos: FROM HELL'S HEART I STAB AT THEE. FOR HATE'S SAKE I SPIT MY LAST BREATH AT THEE.
id love to see another game of this, this is a cool game
It's like TTT, and Daltos is just making Duncan drop his gun over and over.
Every episode I see of this makes me play a round to work out the inevitable feelings induced by the Yogscast Guarantee.
So Duncan never actually pacifies the planets he conquers and than goes "Why don't I have any support"
My mind was breaking when Lewis had a bigger fleet and he didn't just stomp rambler.
I love that Daltos was pulling down Dunc's culture
daltos deserves the crybabia title at this point
God I love it when Daltos is losing.
Daltos wou find a way to become some kinda spirit o spite
Deltos has a fleet over Lodon?
*No one likes a complainer Daltos*
