Live Your Someday Now

Live Your Someday Now

Does Your Someday seem like a lifetime away....
Well it doesn't have to be....

Hi there,
We're Brian & Diane plus our 3 teenagers & 2 rescue dogs & we're inviting you along on our family RV adventure across the United States. Yes, almost 4 years ago we sold our home and most everything we own to see this great country of ours with our children. Along the way we have met fascinating people, volunteered at amazing places and discovered places we didn't even know existed.

A common question we get asked is how we live full time in an RV despite Brian being in a wheelchair due to his paralysis.
Our hope is to raise wheelchair awareness as well as to entertain, inform & inspire you to not wait for someday to start living your dreams.

We'd love to have you join our someday family, rediscover your dreams and start planning to live YOUR someday now.

If you have any questions, or
just want to say HI

    Shoot man, I am so sorry you got the bike stolen. I had a jug of gas stolen out of the bed of my truck in Vegas. I don’t trust anyone there. 😊

    Yeah. It stinks. It was a hard lesson to learn but Vegas is Vegas. We should’ve known better.

    There’s no right one to start in. It depends on how much room you want to have. The types of places you plan to stay. Think resorts vs state or national parks, and of course, your budget.

    That looked like a really easy transfer from the chair into the buggy, the height and the door opening made it work well. What a great video. I feel bad Makenna was getting sick. Looks like a total blast! <3

    Luckily It was a simple transfer and It made the day that much better. And don’t worry about Makenna, she found that her stomach felt a lot better when she was doing the driving, so then she had a ton of fun.

    We got it on discountramps.com. It’s called ez-access trifold ramp. It worked great for us for 5 years before we installed a small lift in our RV.

    Thanks. It was not our smartest decision but we did know where base camp was most of the time and we did periodically see bikers or a few other hikers. My main concern was that we didn’t have much water along. It was a lesson learned.

    If you go hiking down a mountain again I recommend zigzaging back and forth on the steep parts or walk backwards. My Dad taught me that when I was younger and it really helps.

    Looks like Fun. Interesting Fact that I learned today: injuries from falling are mispositional. That means your bones are designed to move when you trip but that allows you to reposition yourself somewhat. Majority of the major stuff is actually when your sense of position doesn't match with the body's actual position (My brother is using a cane after getting tripped over last month.) It's actually part of the science behind how Brian was able to get his first therapy successfully done and my brother is able to exercise for the same reason. The human body is really incredible!

  • @LiveYourSomedayNow

    I never go on the sand because of my wheelchair...its really hard. Plus I only have one helper. I weigh alot too.. My arms aren't strong either. I have MS and Ehlers Dan Los Syndrome. So I am weak in my upper and lower body.. lI can use any advice you have! 😊

  • @LiveYourSomedayNow
    @LiveYourSomedayNow2 ай бұрын

    Sand is definitely not a friend of wheelchairs. It's why we don't get to the beach as much as we'd like. Even with a stronger upper body, it still takes a lot of help. Which is why taking my off ride handcycle on the beach was so fun, I needed minimal help.

    What a great video! Is Makenna back to 100%? She seems to be. Brian simply is not allowed to fall out of the kayak. . . seriously, that is a solid point, and think the secret would be a better life vest, like the ones they use for water skiing, with some good grab handles on it. Hope you guys have an awesome summer planned, was in the 50s here in Southern NH today.

  • @LiveYourSomedayNow
    @LiveYourSomedayNow4 ай бұрын

    She is back to 100% and having lots of fun doing whatever crazy things she wants to. Getting better life vests is on our to do list. And that’s a great idea to find something with straps of some sort that we could really hold on to Brian if he ever fell out. Sounds like you’re having some awesome weather in New Hampshire I hope you’re able to get out and enjoy it.
