Does Your Someday seem like a lifetime away....
Well it doesn't have to be....
Hi there,
We're Brian & Diane plus our 3 teenagers & 2 rescue dogs & we're inviting you along on our family RV adventure across the United States. Yes, almost 4 years ago we sold our home and most everything we own to see this great country of ours with our children. Along the way we have met fascinating people, volunteered at amazing places and discovered places we didn't even know existed.
A common question we get asked is how we live full time in an RV despite Brian being in a wheelchair due to his paralysis.
Our hope is to raise wheelchair awareness as well as to entertain, inform & inspire you to not wait for someday to start living your dreams.
We'd love to have you join our someday family, rediscover your dreams and start planning to live YOUR someday now.
If you have any questions, or
just want to say HI

Shoot man, I am so sorry you got the bike stolen. I had a jug of gas stolen out of the bed of my truck in Vegas. I don’t trust anyone there. 😊
Yeah. It stinks. It was a hard lesson to learn but Vegas is Vegas. We should’ve known better.
I am thinking on doing it full time and I have two dogs what would you suggest I get to start in
There’s no right one to start in. It depends on how much room you want to have. The types of places you plan to stay. Think resorts vs state or national parks, and of course, your budget.
Such fun! That’s cool that there’s sand dunes in Idaho.
Yes it is!
you are the most adventurous family I've EVER known - total awesomeness! the spud state is amazing isn't it? :) great video - awesome editing and music too! God bless!
Thanks. And yes, Idaho is totally amazing. Next time we’re there we want to check out the northwest region.
That looked like a really easy transfer from the chair into the buggy, the height and the door opening made it work well. What a great video. I feel bad Makenna was getting sick. Looks like a total blast! <3
Luckily It was a simple transfer and It made the day that much better. And don’t worry about Makenna, she found that her stomach felt a lot better when she was doing the driving, so then she had a ton of fun.
Go go go!!!
😁
So much fun. Great to see how Alex ended up having fun.
Epic!!!
It was a ton of fun. And even Alex loved it by the end of the day.
wow!! That's something I've never thought about. Great content!
Glad you liked it!
How much was that ramp? Where does one buy that?
We got it on discountramps.com. It’s called ez-access trifold ramp. It worked great for us for 5 years before we installed a small lift in our RV.
Whoa! Y'all made that look easy! Hopefully it will be that way for us 😊
I hope so!
Beautiful views. But a little sketchy looking at sections. 😮
Very!
I know you made it out safe and sound, or we would not be seeing this video, but I was getting so nervous for you and Makenna .
Thanks. It was not our smartest decision but we did know where base camp was most of the time and we did periodically see bikers or a few other hikers. My main concern was that we didn’t have much water along. It was a lesson learned.
If you go hiking down a mountain again I recommend zigzaging back and forth on the steep parts or walk backwards. My Dad taught me that when I was younger and it really helps.
Great tips. Thanks for sharing. We will remember those the next time we’re in some steep areas.
You guys are incredible! Those views were stunning!
Thanks so much! It is an absolutely beautiful area.
Don't let your disability get in the way of your life and goals ❤🙏
Congrats honey you are now a student driver!
Looks like Fun. Interesting Fact that I learned today: injuries from falling are mispositional. That means your bones are designed to move when you trip but that allows you to reposition yourself somewhat. Majority of the major stuff is actually when your sense of position doesn't match with the body's actual position (My brother is using a cane after getting tripped over last month.) It's actually part of the science behind how Brian was able to get his first therapy successfully done and my brother is able to exercise for the same reason. The human body is really incredible!
That’s so interesting. I’ve never heard that before. And we hope your brother recovers quickly.

Looks like a lot of fun.
It was awesome....and a big intimidating.
Can you please tell me about the ramp? It's exactly what we are looking for.
I use a thermal pot, it's awesome
That's great. It seems everyone has their own 'go to' appliances that they like to use RVing.
Fantastic video! You guys are an inspiration! ..and blowing up the equipment is the worst part..lol. I get exhausted after we air up our paddle boards and then don't want to work any more. ha!
Thanks. And yes, it's so true. The inflating the kayaks is a bit of a work out in itself. LOL
I never go on the sand because of my wheelchair...its really hard. Plus I only have one helper. I weigh alot too.. My arms aren't strong either. I have MS and Ehlers Dan Los Syndrome. So I am weak in my upper and lower body.. lI can use any advice you have! 😊
Sand is definitely not a friend of wheelchairs. It's why we don't get to the beach as much as we'd like. Even with a stronger upper body, it still takes a lot of help. Which is why taking my off ride handcycle on the beach was so fun, I needed minimal help.
Hi, Nice to see your family having so much fun! I have an electric wheel chair and a regular manual one. Not as many acess places to go for kayacking.
Amazing video! Such a beautiful views! Like 29 Thank you very much for sharing! New subscriber here. Greetings from Florida!
You got a new friend S ✅
Hi! We're glad you found us.
Great video.. beautiful place. You are the best
Thank you! 😃
Greetings from Naples, Florida. That was awesome! We enjoyed. Thanks for sharing with us, have a great week 👍 💯 ❤
Thank you. And greetings from central florida. It's so beautiful in Florida that it is always our hang out for the winter months.
Like 121 👍 💯 ❤
Thanks for the visit
Kayaking is one of our favorite things to do on our travels. Seeing places from the water is always a unique experience. 😊
It really is!
That water was beautiful. But certainly seemed cold. 😊
It wasn't too bad. And like Makenna said, it was warmer than in Glacier National Park. :)
What a great video! Is Makenna back to 100%? She seems to be. Brian simply is not allowed to fall out of the kayak. . . seriously, that is a solid point, and think the secret would be a better life vest, like the ones they use for water skiing, with some good grab handles on it. Hope you guys have an awesome summer planned, was in the 50s here in Southern NH today.
She is back to 100% and having lots of fun doing whatever crazy things she wants to. Getting better life vests is on our to do list. And that’s a great idea to find something with straps of some sort that we could really hold on to Brian if he ever fell out. Sounds like you’re having some awesome weather in New Hampshire I hope you’re able to get out and enjoy it.
@@LiveYourSomedayNow in my 55 years, I think the last 3 months have been the biggest yo-yo ever.
I know Pennsylvania has had some weird ups and downs too. Of course, we've been in Florida all winter so it's kinda just the same old warm weather all the time. :)
Yup, don't need to outrun the large animals, just outrun the other people. LOL
Very true. But unfortunately for me it was me against Jarod. So if the moose felt like chasing us, it would’ve been me. 😁
@@LiveYourSomedayNow just use your mom voice and scold him, he'll back right off. 😂
I'm not sure if that works anymore. LOL
Such a blessing to see Makenna having so much fun considering the health scare she went through years ago😊. What a great day for all😁
Thank you. It's hard to believe that was four years ago. And we're so happy she is back to living her best life again.
Wheelchair, Camper…And a bike…😎✌️ stroke I love it…❤
👍 thanks for watching.
The moose were kinda scary. 😂
That one definitely freaked out mom and Jarod.
What a cute town.
A perfect small western town with lots to do.
Brian's dad jokes never get old🤣😂
Thank you. We're glad someone appreciates them.
Blackberries! Yum
I wonder if Brian's mountain bike would have been better here.
We did think of taking it, but then realized that if we put the mountain bike in the car then only 3 people fit :) But it definitely would've worked better in the farm terrain.
You all need to be careful, don't break the Brian! Looks like you all had a berry good time; really nice to see all 5 of you together, plus the bonus son. :)
we appreciate how punny you are, Timothy.
"Sweet" adventure 😊
sweet, and filling....and we all came away a little bit purple.
Jarod makes a great French fry. 🤣
and he had a lot of fun.
What brand & model inflatable kayaks were you using. We are interested in the two person model. It looks like you guys had Great fun !
Hi, Thanks for watching! They are Advanced Element Kayaks. We've been very happy with them. We got them in 2018 and they have held up well through lots of adventures
Having someone put your boat in is everything!!
It would be very tough to get in the water by myself. But definitely getting out would be nearly impossible without some help. It’s great to have family and friends to go out on the water with me
Hi guys! Hope you guys are doing well! Miss you all! Great video! From Jonah
Hi Jonah. We miss you too. We had so much fun doing the river float with you.
Great scenery
Jarod. 😂😂😂😂
He is vocal. 🤣
Stay out of the shallow water. 😂
We were trying. 🤣🤣
