Hm. I wonder how many people tried to chop Flint’s head off playing The Game?

When R.Troi showed up naked to her wedding, it wasnt to shame herself, she is a Betazoid and they get married naked. Her husband to be told her not to go through with that tradition of hers and she was conflicted and like what was said she purposefully sabotages the wedding because she knew it wouldnt work out...

@12:07 - You mention the moving shadow caused by the BREEN Dreadnought ship - it is invocative of the scene in the INDEPENDENCE DAY movie when the Massive alien ships arrival casts a looming shadow on the Earths' moon, as the ship approaches Earth. I don't know if it was done on purpose, as an Easter egg, but it sure made me laugh (giggle with evil Glee -?) at the coincidence! - UH OH, They are HERE!!!

0:54 Is that Fraser from Dads Army...? Number 9, maybe the Romulan left instructions for the messages to be passed on if he died...? Seven Of Nine is my favourite Voyager character, even as a full Borg. The Bajoran Wormhole was NOT an option, as far as Janeway knew it may have been collapsed by the time they got to it.

The shuttle bay of Breen Dreadnought is almost the size of the turbo-lift system space of Discovery. Yes, very "multiple dimensions" there. 😁 I didn't see the neceles in compact formation, thank you! "Whoops, so they did." is my favourite audiovisual jargon of the season. The split in 3 faces for me is from Japanese series, like Changeman, Flashman, Goggle Five, etc. Well, it is for an older generation. ;-) This episode also intrigued me about the invisible change in the communication system, which made me think about a brain scan, but this would lead to a mind-controlled ship, without the slow arms, hands and fingers at crisis events, pilots half-way like those from Dune, and... No, I don't know the secret of this Star Trek magic. May we expect T'Pol and Moll in Discovery's 10th season? I wouldn't spoil the last episode, but the Progenitor who will appear was performed by... Jeffrey Combs. Obviously. Would you like an invite to an oil bath?

Look forward to third list. (Makes me feel younger.) As always, thank you so very much, Seán & Friends, for the videos. Am I old? As a pre-teen I watched the original series, and now I have grands who watch Trek… so no, no I'm not… at least not old enough to be worthy of the list.

I was one of the privileged VIP's present at the screening in Culver City, CA of "You Can Call Me Bill," and I too came away very impressed with Mr. Shatner's take on the universe and his being in it. I also had the opportunity to see his 1-man comedy show at Cache Creek Casino where he didn't mention Star Trek at all. We ALL tend to think of him as only Capt Kirk, but I've seen 1st hand how vast his personas can be. Thank you, Bill, for everything! May you Live Long and Prosper!

Now I'm conflicted. No one asked for Tilly's Academy. We do NOT need more YA Star Trek. The fans legitimately want Legacy, and Kurtzman and Co. have willfully ignored this. I still fear that Tilly's Academy will be awful and resent that this is what we are being offered, but now I'll at least watch it initially because Holly Hunter is a powerhouse actor as good as any in the Star Trek tradition.

Ok putting the Cerritos above the Enterprise E is just this man playing to his fanboy. The Cerritos should have been at number 9 or even number 10. Top 1 Should have been Enterprise E followed by the D the Refit, Voyager, Defiant, Original, NX, Discovery, La Sirena then Cerritos. This man knows nothing of Star Trek. I have called them out countless times for getting things WRONG all the time. I just wished these people would have done more research before making a video that is easily DEBUNKED

I disagree on The Perfect Mate. Picard vigorously defends her rights and makes it clear he and his crew will risk political turmoil for her sake if that is her desire. 21st Century eyes are looking at this with hypersensitivity to female subjugation, and that makes the episode all the more powerful today because it is designed to point out to us that an entirely different social construct can exist that might seem unjust and unfair to our standards, but which actually works for all involved, and it's not our place to judge if all the players are truly happy with the situation.

Hi Shaun, another nod to DS9 in The Undiscovered Country is how could you forget to mention René Auberjonois as Colonel West??? A rare occasion when the name does not appear in the credits. I realise that it's before DS9 but its still worth a mention.

I always wondered: Why were families still on the ship(s) while going to Wolf 359? They couldn't drop them at a star base or...anything? Obviously I know to quote @PitchMeeting "Why?" "So the story can happen." "That makes sense." But even with the Q stuff in the TNG pilot they were like "Nope getting the families out of here." Going up against the murderous Borg? "This should be a family experience."
