  I bought a used 2018 Sierra 1500 1.5yrs ago that had Alpha Rex headlights and the halogen connectors you showed us at 1:05 became corroded on mine. I didn't know anything about these headlights until I started having issues with the truck cranking and not starting. Come to find that those connectors corroded and moisture got in caused the crank no start issue. Is there a way to change/fix the wiring without having to buy new headlights? TIA

  I have that same leak but on the bend by the passenger rear wheel well. Seems like it’s coming from under the rubber sheath. Let me know what you do.

  The two connectors 7:10, where do the wires need to be connect to? Does the other end of the connector connected from the board go to the fuse box?

  No. Do not put them to a fuse box. They just need to connect together. It's s complete the circuit kind of thing. It's addressed later in the video.

  This jack is dangerous 😬 A channel called farmcraft101 has a video with this jack titled Dump Truck Repair: Clutch, Transmission and Near disaster. Black Sheep Garage has a good video showing the issues with this jack. The 1 star reviews for the 800 pound jack on Harbor Freight's website confirm the same issues as the videos.

  I am finding wherever I can to report how terrible Alpha rex products are and their customer service. I had a set purchased for a toyota. Impossible to level them from the install and they did not want to help. Always the customers fault. I then had an issue that everyone kept flashing me and I later discovered the lights were constantly changing brightness on their own. shortly after that, they filled up with so much condensation that it looked like someone poured water into them. The units are not even a year old. I have been trying to work with Alpha Rex for months now and they keep telling me they are looking into it if I can ever get them to respond. Makes it impossible to drive your vehicle when the lights don’t work and there is no concern from the company to address. Absolutely horrible customer service.

  How is the light output in the rain, that seems to be when I have the most issues with 6k color temp. Do you have any issue with the actual throw of the projection far in front of you?

  When doing the bowls/throat area I always put a bolt into the chamber side of the guide. The grinding media will spin the bolt before you damage the guide. When doing the chambers, install the old valves to protect the seats. I use a big magnified lamp lense clamped to my bench and head stands. Preferably a foot control and HD dremel. Don't neglect casting flash in the top side of the drain backs. You would be surprised what it can do when it falls off into the engine. The last one is less is more in porting. Its easier to remove less material then put it back.

  Good job man taking it on by yourself next time tho just watch ur live data for wheel speed the sensor that is slower or not reading will be ur problem and start at the hub cause signal falls out when the sensor can’t read the tone ring on a hub

  @@BrandonBurns1985 I just think it’s wonderful to see a man taking the time to repair his own vehicle and doing it the right way. I’d suggest u buy a diy subscription to alldata for your car that way when u scan it u can punch the code u get into the alldata search bar and for to probable cause or find a fix tab it will also have a diagnostic procedure to follow and in this case you’d see the tsb technical service bulletin or operation and description so you can see what causes this and how the component works. If you know how something works you can diagnose it a lot easier and faster. Keep up the good work man!

  so i just got the alpharex also but for my tacoma i hate how you have to open the headlights to connect to amber then open again to disconnect for white led, love how you made a extended wire, can you update with a new video if you can how ur switch works by clicking to turn on amber or led white. im thinking the same thing how you did it to make switches thank you! awesome video

  They make self sealing tape. You stretch it and it seals to itself to make a waterproof seal. Wrap the non-waterproof connectors in it....problem solved. Same stuff I used to seal up antenna connections on the mast of the Enterprise aircraft carrier. Lasted for years, keeps out water, kept out salt, and required a knife to remove the seal tape.

  For the headlights? No. They have integrated LED bi projectors. Fog lights are LED bulbs from amazon.
