Hello everyone! This is Saurian Target, and welcome to the channel, where I hope to bring you the best Carnivores-related videos in the universe!
The Carnivores games are nostalgic to many people, and they have not received the best coverage on KZread. Even the fantastic mods that have helped keep the franchise alive for 20 years get sidelined too often, so I'm here to fix that. We're going all in, from covering Carnivores Top 5s to Mod Showcases and even discussion videos about the state of this fantastic dinosaur game series.

A shame. I only have a Nintendo Switch. Well, I’m used to the Switch versions of many multiplatform games not being properly optimized for the less powerful hardware. I’d like to get into PC gaming someday. And maybe the Switch successor will have an upgrade in the specs
Can someone help me. I don't know why I can't play on 3DFX glide or direct 3D settings.
I wish they would just bring back the mutant dinosaurs but they probably wouldn't since the community hates them which sucks for me cause I actually like their designs.

There's no way ornate is rarer than albino, as I spent full days trying to find albino stegoceras and sarcosaurus while finding multiple of their ornates, sometimes even back to back in different hunts I can say the same about every other dinosaur in triplex as I have one of each dino and their variants in my trophy room Also I like to believe that albinos have some sort of weird ability like that that helps them survive since well, they aren't hiding from anything Unfortunate I would have been so upset if that happened on my albino hunt But luckily I was on the last map so no big walls to escape to
Based on some of the other comments here, I am thinking that the orantes might not be as rare as I thought. I’m not sure where I heard they were rarer than albinos… 🤔 That’s so awesome about having one of each dino + variants! I bet your trophy room looks great 😎
@@SaurianTarget Yeah From what I've seen, the most common ornate is spinophoro (the sauropod) They aren't hard to find, at least compared to the others Once I even saw multiple of them in the same hunt The most common albino seems to be vekti

are you using this fix on Triplex 4? because for me its work but if i use the fix launcher,i don get point and kill confirmation plate dont show up when i down a trophy animal .
No, there’s no need to use this fix on Triplex 4, it comes with the fix already installed
@@SaurianTarget weird if i play with the triplex laucher i experiencing bad performence and crash after 5 minutes ,with this fix is run perfect but cannot gain points
Saurian I beg for you to keep this series around Edit: Someone just give this man the license to the Carnivores franchise, he NEEDS to become the final authority on all thing carnivores so now we can never disagree with him, because let’s be honest almost all of us agree with his takes

One thing ive noticed is that the carnotours are for some reason much larger and stronger then the gigas in game. Its like their stats were swapped.
From the gameplay I’ve seen, I’ve noticed that too

Great video as always mr. target same thing happened to me in my triplex beta 4 playthrough! I was stalking a vektis when I saw it. the albino spinfaarosaurus! didn't have enough shots to kill it or have tranqs enabled so... :/ oh yeah and it also trampled me whilst I was trying to escape

This is great. I played these games so much as a kid, but as a cynical adult I have trouble trying to get back into them. My overthinking ruins that mystical experience I had as a child, where I wasn’t aware of the AI and it felt more like I was hunting unpredictable animals. Seeing another adult go on a hunt and be able to spin a story with these creatures as if they’re living, breathing animals, is good inspiration and guidance for how to think on my own future hunts.

I feel like a child listening to my grandfather hunting stories on the dinosaur planet i would love watch more videos like this. Oh so the same thing happened to me last year with a victasaurus somebody most had filled the place with radioactive spiders XD.

Triplex wins Best Trophy Room award for sure. All the others are kinda dull honestly. Plus being able to pose trophies, if I uderstood right, is always nice. Failures are always funnier to watch 😆.
Yeah the way Triplex’s trophy room is laid out is so nice, really lets you customize how you display your trophies, which I love! I tend to agree about failures 😂
You can't really pose your trophies. Every variant has a pre-determined pose, but you can arrange them however you want by hunting them down in your preferred order... which is very tedious considering how rare the albino and ornate variants are
I really like this format! Hope we get more of it. Definitely going to have to check out Triplex version 4 when I finally get time to do so.

I've also lost an albino stegoceras. It was a random spawn, and I couldn't get a good shot on it, and it ran off, never to been seen again. ;-;

Hey saurian target I just installed the carnivores ice age Hd mod from and the new yeti remake I carefully replaced every file of old yeti with the new one however only few things replaced which are sounds,model and menu picture. The new Yeti still behaves like the old yeti. Please make a quick tutorial on it.
What do you mean it still behaves like the old one?
@@SaurianTarget In pc version of carnivores ice age, Yeti used to run away from the hunter and it cannot swim in water as well. The remake version of yeti is terrifying but for some reason it's still behaving like the old yeti. Running away from the hunter and not able to swim in water. It's killing animation is also messed up, if remake yeti kills me, instead of eating my head, it just grabs me and start to run again and hunter is floating with him and in the air. Please make a tutorial on it. Gentle reminder: I play this Carnivores ice age mod called"Carnivores ice age HD".
Is Carnivores Ice Age HD an MEE mod? The Yeti remake is only compatible with MEE mods.
Yes Carnivores ice age HD is a MEE mod created by "PhororaqueJr." In this mod instead of pigs, we see dodo birds as an ambient creature and this mod got new mamals skin design and 4 weapons. I don't play the original official carnivores ice age game. I would really appreciate if you send the link of that mod in which you showcased new yeti.
