Love my old knuckle. Had her 50 years this year. My first Harley and never looked back. love this rebuild.
I hope Matts daughter gets the same passion for these bikes, be so awesome to see her grow and continue on the museum.
I did not know how a 1912 Harley Davidson was started I learned something knew today, thank you for your content .
I'm going to wear these special gloves. Still gets it all over his hands🙌😂😂 Gotta love it!!
Once upon a time all those bikes there had a loving owner who worshiped it and used it as it was intended to. It was their only bike and was an important part of their lives. I truly hope that all the bikes there get to enjoy that again.
I enjoyed the very short sections where you weren't yakking.
New to your channel. Absolutely amazing seeing you bring these back from the dead. Amazing history, fantastic work!! I could watch these all day. In fact it's a lazy Sunday, I think that is exactly what I'm gonna to do.
Why Oh Why did we not see the remainder of the engine tear down and rebuild??? 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ Was genuinely wanting to see the rest of the insides and learn about it. Especially the put back together portion.
Does black paint make the bike go faster?
Absolutely loved the video. It’s interesting to see that the knucklehead assembly calls for German torque specifications. Everything is gudenteit.
Beauty
Did knucklehead engineers not believe in torquing anything down? just good ole manpower? (this is a genuine question)
They had to make more then 50 bikes to enter the WSBK actually the rule is 200 bikes…😂
Hi Matt I was wondering, what is that silver "Paint" you put on the copper headgasket. I always thought they would do some Annealing
My favorite part was about 8 seconds in when you went in for a high five and he gave you a hug.
You should get in touch with Kermit Weeks down in Florida. See if you can work with his people and make that thing airworthy again. Or get a copy of the blueprint that won the contest and have a flying replica built using this plane as a reference. It looks light enough to operate under Part 103. New fabric, get the controls rigged and lubed right, the underlying structure looks good...? I'd fly the heck out of it.
Great Job Matt .
1919 Harley davidson motorcycle
Low key this fool made the radio flyer happen in reality and shit
I look forward to this raffle each year. It’s always so exciting to watch the drawing, live, on KZread.
Hope your beard doesn’t get wrapped up in equipment! Otherwise awesome vids.
I love watching you Matt. Really make me want to look at my friend.Look for a basket. We are just blown away. That you walk into part of the museum and start pulling out bowels and stuff. Then we all missed your father. But you Have taken up the museum and in my opinion. Which doesn't count for anything. You are doing a awesome job. Can't express how happy and how pleased we are! Keep it up. And we will try to keep up with you.
Wow man, soooo cool!! Thanks for sharing this one 👌👌👍👍🙏🏍️🏍️
Thank you again Matt ❤️ , hopefully see the museum again in 3 weeks, I have been counting down the days 👍
A fellow sailor in the Navy once saw an ad in the newspaper for a knucklehead in boxes in an attic. Old woman clearing her attic. It was complete but totally taken apart. Fifty bucks. He was so excited because he was a huge motor head biker who rode a BSA Victor constantly.
I’ve met these guys and can tell you all they’re some of the best people you can ever meet. Next time in Maggie Valley, definitely check them out!!! Talk about knowledge… like a walking technical library and lots of real world skill.
Piece of art coming to life man.
Music to my ears
Engine all steel? It seems heavier than modern engines.🤔
