Can you please recommend a library to use in order to control this leds? I am bulding a test circuit, where leds need to have an external power supply and they have to be controlled (turned off or on) using raspberry pi and python.

I’m almost finished building mine, based off your video. But I can’t figure out the door. It looks like I have the same hinge as you and the same material positioning as your model but the top of the door pinches the top of the trim piece and won’t open all the way

I’ve got the exact truck in grey and I’m going to do something very similar after watching this! Did you use half inch ply or 5/8? 3/4 would be too heavy, I’m thinking

I really like the idea of the back opening that it locks with a truck tailgate very smartly thought out! to make it more challenging to break into the back; thanks for sharing your ideas.

Use it in your new truck. If you built it , you will find a way to make it fit on the other one.

Im going to build one like this tomorrow and film it. Cant buy a real one because of covid lead times. Using a 4x8 on the top, the bed is about 6 feet wide, so the angle and rise need to end at 4 feet wide for the top… Thats all i got so far.

I keep coming back to your video because it's more of what I like. I like the 22.5 degree sidewall but I have a soft tonneau cover now. It will be wider than the top with the 22.5 degree angle. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you for the video. I have to make a one-way move cross country and I have enough scrap materials to make something like this so I am. I am also incorporating brackets on the roof to bolt on my 16' extension ladder.

Thanks for the video. Very practical. In mine I'm going to try to increase the back dimension to add a bit more headroom. I'm not sure yet. Just wanted to say thanks for the idea. I first was looking for an aluminum camper shell n cut the length down to fit my 5'-6" bed. But I want to also add an extension that slides in to my tailgate because I'm a bit tall for my bed length. Wasn't thinking when I bought this truck...but it's cheaper than buy a new truck. God Bless.

Thanks for the videos. I watched both. They seem good for what I need. I see a few modifications I can make as you pointed out. I'm thinking if 2x2 will be light enough. I like the "J" hooks attachment. I don't mind my zero visibility because I have a rear view camera. But pictures are great.

Wood at Home Depot screws and used futon mattress from Goodwill or a cheap one off Craigslist with period Stains on it probably all under $100 maybe $150 at that and two days of labor maybe less and one day. I'm doing it this weekend and hitting the streets. Fucking COVID!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 As long as I have a roof over my head for me and my dog I don't give a fuck and if the cops give me a hard time I'm just tell him I'm broke there's covered and my girlfriend drinks a lot and I don't want to get in a fight with her I'll get by. People just need to stay fuck away from me let me figure out food and other shit ramen can go a long way and so can can chili and canned other shit. I live in a van once by the ocean and it was the best most prettiest time of my life especially at night time when I could relax and just watch videos on my phone and hang out with my dog it's the mornings that suck when people walk by and they're like what the fuck is this guy doing but now in California it doesn't matter at least I'm not on the street doing drugs and have a tent on the street I have my own vehicle the cops don't give a fuck about any of this stuff anymore
