Haha... I superglued my finger back together when I sliced it open, if it works, it works. Def a good idea fitting armour. Some of my kit, the hip armour can be quite uncomfortable as it doesn't suit the riding position on some bikes, but is ok on others. well worth having still though. The ABR was amazing, and super cool to run in to you, shame we didn't get to hang longer. I'll see you there next year no doubt! 😀

@@johndiehardmclean23 ABR is jus too big for my liking. I've booked the Overlander Event for 2025. I was born and brought up in London.... I was over the moon when we moved away. Probably why I avoid places full of people whenever I can these days... hence my love of the Highlands. 😊

Each of them has it's own collection of memories of scenic Twisties, changeable weather and good times shared with others. None of them though has made it to my back yard despite coming very close, I hope the GS finds it's way soon 👍😊

@@johndiehardmclean23 Best Fun RD 350 LC was many years ago but was the most fun bike ever. But best for Practicality the NC 750 X. And probably the Honda CG 125 S was worst since back in the day we didn't have any spare cash and had to make do with very cheap bikes but enjoyed every moment of tinkering with it. First of all, I totally agree with you about the too long side stand. I’m on the shorter side myself, and most of the time it can become quite harrowing trying to get the sides stand either up or down. A couple of times I thought I would drop the bike to the right Doing so. Great review.
Hey Mike,Bizarrely enough I've got the same issue with my F850GS, but there's a shorter sidestand BMW can replace it with on the 750! 👍
