I'm having an issue with attackleftis on the hunting revolver. I'm also using B42 optics. The animation looks fine in blender, and the scene root follows my rig movements. Once I see it in game though, the animation just rotates the gun along the horizontal axis with nothing else moving like how I animated it. I'm looking at other animation mods for the hunting revolver that work fine with B42 optics and scanning through the bone priorities, but nothing I'm finding seems to fix my problem.

I tried posing, but when ever I touch anything in the animation tab, such as ctrl d the keyframes or playing the animation, the pose go back to what it originally looked like

Whenever I try to move the idle, it moves back to it's original position when I hit Shift-D. Any advice?

The origin of the gun is right in the middle of the weapon and not on the grip. Any way to move it toward the grip? Edit: I might be overthinking it. The weapon's gonna be held alot lower than most weapons. Not as low as a minigun but still.

They shouldn’t be stretching? Idk what you’re doing other than clicking S to stretch them. When you click on a bone you should only be clicking R or G

I know it is a long shot but I was wondering if I could get some help, I followed the tutorial and when I equip the gun in game it crashes. My game is on a fresh install with only the 1 weapon mod installed along with the pre-requisites for the gun mod and stewie tweaks. EDIT: I followed the same process with a vanilla gun and it worked, it seemed to be a problem with the gun mod.

Did you already do your idle? Sometimes new people do their idle, bake the animation, then continue animating that same file with the baked animation. You can’t do that

Energy weapon mod more stable than EVE with the same quality meshes and animations? because I need that desperately, I love the way the Pulse Gun looks in FNV with EVE installed but it's so incredibly out of date and incompatible with so many other mods some of which I still use and suffer missing or f*cked up textures. I'd love to just switch the meshes and animations myself but hands-on custom modding for FNV is *not* straightforward to learn or to execute.

If your scene root doesnt follow ur rig movemnts, that means u baked then kept kept animating. Baking is meant to be done only after youre finished with the anim. Also dont bake the idle animation u did from part 1 then conitnue animsting like that. Its not gonna work Ive had like 20 people ask me about the same issue already lol

Sounds similar to "Some UI Sounds (SUS)". There's some other mod called "More Subtle UI Sound Effects" which I haven't tried myself but maybe you should give either of these mods a shot.

Attempting to open the animation rif blend file with blender 2.9 results in an instant crash, but using a newer blender version means the plugin for nif is incompatible, what do i do? Edit: Found a more up to date version of the plugin that worked with the latest Blender version.

Having an issue where my ADS attack animation twitches upwards if I shoot while moving. Doesn't matter if I hold it down or tap.

If I have the debug text up in slomo, it shows the ADS animation is cutting in straight away after the 2haAttackloopIS - but ONLY when I tap fire and move. When I hold fire and move, it just shows 2haAttackLoopIS like normal.

Yeah it's just NV bugginess, happens with mine too. You can set iscontrol node priority to 56 but that also introduces another bug I think ...
