Hi, I’m Ellie! I’m 19 and my dad and I are restoring a 1965 Ford Falcon that is now my daily driver, but…we’ve learning as we go. So, we’re figuring it all out and learning A LOT along the way!
We post new videos every other Tuesday, so consider subscribing and I’ll see you next time in the garage!

your cameraman is horrible
I just did this on a 64 Galaxie. The only advice I can give is squeeze the adhesive into a small pot and then use a half inch craft brush to brush a thin layer onto both surfaces, then wait longer than you think you should for it to tack up. Do 12-18 inches at a time…. another pair of hands would have been useful too.
Hi, do you know where and when is the next falcon car show
Must have a rich family to afford going to school out of the USA. Why did you decide to do that
COOL.....maybe I missed it but did you make any mention about gas millage on the highway? Transmission............2 speed automatic?
are you re-filling it from the dipstick tube? Or a different one?
Missed you all at the Falcon Show. Maybe next year you can make Pittsburgh. ❤
Cars are girls 😬
@@brimlife6622 mine isn’t
It has been a while since I watched a new episode and great job as always. Wow that is awesome that you are in the UK studying Engineering. So happy for you. Are you planning to work in the automotive field?
Great video, glad I found the channel
Cheater! You're not supposed to enjoy engineering school! But with that view of the beach...
Do you just prep it by using degreaser and water? What was that foamy spray?
Do u think that shifter would work on a 1960 Ford falcon?
Salute to Mr pope. This young Aussie lad knows what the hell is happening with my bloody car now haha cheers mate 🎉
Sometimes it's all about the tip.
I hate that is only in brass color though
killer!
Does it work on Chevy 250 inline 6?
Sweet! Exactly the video I needed to see to cool down my ‘67 Mustang at idle during the summer months! Loved the visual with the bill. Shocked with the results you got. Thanks!
The carb is not the bottleneck in the wheezy old Ford 200. The head, with its integrated intake only designed for a single one-barrel carb, that holds that engine back. Really impressive job, anyway. And yes, this will likely be more reliable and efficient, and cold weather drivability will be night and day.
Why does my weather stripping look completely different that what they were installing 🤷♂️
More rust per square feet than any vehicle show!
Nice Falcon ❤
Love you and you daughter working together.I been working on cars 38 years and it still scares me.
And.... you..... THINK!....U know everything!!!
Try using black prime can for guide coat might work better
Hey, what about giving us a update on that Holley Sniper, pros / cons & is it still performing as it should??
you can see better , but , what does it do to opposing traffic ?
Good question. These are brighter than my stock LEDs but they don't seem overly bright or brighter than what would seem "normal".
Wow I had no idea the engineers (apparently 2 years ago now?) were smart enough to a) Include the adapter relay, b) Provide 3000k warmer ambient color temperature, and c) VERY SMARTLY engage brights and lows same time!!! These may actually be worth buying when my regular ones go out! ... How are they holding up? Do they get very hot? Seems like it
I've been impressed. They work great and run completely cool (as far as I have felt). They're not cheap but I think you get what you pay for.
@@ElliesGarage Thank you for your reply. I am someone who believes $200 is nothing when it comes to my safety (your new headlights are way safer since you can see far out to the sides).. One of my mottos comes from a line in "Entourage" when the security guy says to Vince, "What's worth more, your cars or your head?" Can never put a price on safety! This was the best review online about the new led headlights!
Quantifiable ... There's a new $4 word I learnt today. HA! You should work on wall street
1:16 LOL That's how everyone used to do it so they wouldn't blind oncoming traffic, imitates the newer matrix headlights. But sadly, the politeness in society has lost its way.
Less than 10k with this production is wild
Good luck on your project.
Thank you!
Thank you for this video. I had to remove my door latches to clean them. 59 year old grease was not fun
I have a 1963 falcon 2 door hardtop where can I get parts for
Lordco 😎
Autokrafters or Dennis Carpenter .
if it were my car and the fuel still flowed properly would of just left it be.
I thought that too lol 😂
@@agooser26 lol oh well it never hurt to change it just make a good learning experience, she has a lot more patience than i do. or i just don't want to crawl under the 65 meteor in the super tight space as it sits in the yard, and i still need to get one of the broken bolts removed for the starter.
You have a great future. Keep it up❤❤❤
Just tried to replace my daughter’s thermostat on her overheating trailblazer. Her boyfriend took the fan shroud out about a month ago. Glad we watched this
I had a black one.
I enjoy your channel. Thought you guys would be interested in watching this video about the Falcon on this other channel I watch. Keep up the good work. Be safe! kzread.info/dash/bejne/pHyEu8yYqqWrZLg.htmlsi=eyeoqoPFkGDYHgSX
Wish you all the best. Great video😊
My first car back in 1980 was a 1964 Ford Falcon that my Dad bought me and it had to be rebuilt. Over that summer, I swapped out an engine and got it roadworthy and I drove it to college for the 5 1/2 years I took to get my double major. (Had to take a semester off because of finances - I had to pay for college and the car ended up needing repairs). My 2 door Falcon was very close in color to your 4 door. The car was in decent condition overall other than the usual rusty floor boards. It was so easy to work on. I do miss it though I don't miss the 2 speed automatic which really bothers me now since it cost me gas mileage! I love when people bring their Falcons back to how they were when new but absolutely loathe people who modify their falcon with stupid paint jobs and period inappropriate wheels.
The c4 and c6 is made to go to 3 very soon,to save gas. The big engines was wery strong on low rpms. My lincoln with 460 stays in 3 almost all the time
I learn so much watching your KZread videos. Keep them coming! Oh and I have a 65 falcon wagon. So I’m with you on the ford falcons.
The only thing I like about this is the Dad/Daughter experience.
My first car was a 1959 English Ford Anglia. I traded an outboard motor and some cash for it; I had to assemble the little flathead to get it running, and i drove it to school and work. My second was a 1957 Ford Tudor, I put a 390 in it and a man bought it for way more than i had in it. Third was a 1960 Falcon, and it is sorely missed. I have photos of these. Later on after some wasted time with MG's, I bought a 1965 Ranchero--technically it was a Fairlane, but it was so much like the Falcons of the era, it still makes for great memories. I have to tell you how thrilling it is to see such infectious enthusiasm from One so Young. Tennessee has numerous antique shops and old junk yards and I will search with shared enthusiasm for a lamp such as the one you wanted. Thank you for a bright spot in my day!
Just wanted to say, you are a dream girl!!!🥰🥰
I love your videos, reminds me of when I was 10 and my uncle started teaching me how to work on cars! p.s. you are the cutest mechanic I have ever seen!
Dad had a 62 Falcon Station Wagon, sorry I could not make it through your video. The nose ring really irritated me.
