Greetings from Croatia! Do our country next, try not to get shot by isolated farmers and mountain communities that don't speak english! Also try not to step on an unexploded mine or shell littered everywhere off road

i used to go thru peoples gardens all the time when i was younger.. but when youre a teen and early 20s you feel more brave and you feel like you can get away with anything... you kinda have this protection for being young.. people might shout at you but you never feel like you will be arrested or anything.. people just think. he's a kid having fun.. when youre older you feel more like you might be arrested as a criminal or pervert or something so you dont feel as brave doing it. but also i used to mostly do it at night so no one ever noticed me... id just take short cuts across town by going thru peoples back gardens etc

Except for Geowiz's Pit bog-incident in Norway, this is the most dangerous straight line missioning I've seen so far. That cold weather and snow makes everything ten times worse.

people do straight line missions.. but has anyone tried a circle mission? great thing about doing a perfect circle of whatever diameter you like, is you end up back at the start, where you parked your car.

HONESTLY if you analyse the amount of support Tom had and they had, it's really not that much difference. Having food doesn't magically make you grow balls which allow you to cross a slippery tree above a 4 metre drop, which is what they did and Geowizard refused to do. Geowizard's backpack was so small it barely counts as a backpack. They just chose a better line and were more ballsy with the farmland and tree crossings, that's the end of it, and they did it all without constantly moaning and whining.

This is a good effort but I somehow feel like having live drone footage, four people support team, and doing it with constant pit stops for food and water from crew makes it a bit different. It's like a ''speed straight line run'' rather than an actual straight line mission.. I appreciate the let's get it done attitude compared to Tom kind of whining and being a drama queen at times.

Sweden is about 225 km which obviously another level, BUT it has a law called the right to roam which means any private area can legally be traversed without any permit.

8:42 this kinda reminds me of when me and my friend were volunteering in Peru and we decided to take a short cut home, instead of following the long winding track we went up this gully track that went up the mountainside for miles more in a straight line.. at first it was easy.. occasional boulder climbs.. but the gully got steeper & steeper & narrower & narrower until we reached almost the top.. a short vertical cliff face of dirt about 2 metres or so with a huge drop behind us.. it seemed almost impossible to climb up over this ridge and slight overhang... we could stretch up and grab the top but not pull ourselves over.. it was pretty precarious.. we didnt want to walk all the way down again and back round the long way, but trying to get over the overhang (with no ropes) was too dangerous.. luckily just as we were about to give up, some old farmer popped his head over the ridge and gave us a hard yank over the ridge. No innuendo insinuated. Its amazing how strong these old Peruvian guys are. He might have saved our lives...

Hilarious how you roast Geowizard for complaining about the fallen trees and then complain how your three car army didn't arrive on time to provide you with fresh food every other hour. Oh god what about my elevenses? Where's my beans ans sausage? I can't do without my beans and sausage. Anyways thanks for the vid and nice to see how GW inspires other people. Great to see some competition in this space.

have you guys ever thought of doing a mission BAREFOOT? i walked 26 miles in 8 hours last summer completely barefoot, on roads, fields, tracks, even on gravel tracks... i was walking 3 miles a day barefoot beforehand.. no long distances.. but id suggest to do what i do and walk a bit barefoot here and there. if you went from wearing boots all the time to 26 miles barefoot, youd probably have bleeding feet and be crippled by the end
