Welcome to MPGomatic, where mileage matters!
Are you fed up with being robbed at the gas pump every week?
We're here to help! Our crazy new series, Ain't Fuelin' will help you get more miles out of every gallon.
MPGomatic car reviews focus on gas mileage, 0-60 MPH tests, driveability & digital audio integration. 0-60 MPH acceleration clips put you in the driver's seat, and from-the-floor reports bring cutting edge automotive technology to your browser.
We try to upload at least one video segment per week, usually on Saturday mornings. We do Hangouts on Air from time to time, but do not have a set schedule for that ... yet ...
Please Note: All of the vehicles we review (unless otherwise noted) are provided by their respective manufacturers.
We welcome your participation in the comment threads but ask that you please keep it clean and refrain from personal attacks. Trolls will not be tolerated.
Enjoy, subscribe, and spread the word! :)

"does need imported petrolium..." but the car itself is imported
Nicw
Awesome video
Still driving my 2012 Civic CNG! 76K miles now but it's saved me so much money on gas.
How tall are you? I just installed nrg defender seats in my 280zx, and im not happy with them especially being a non adjustable seat
In my 6MT mk7 TDI the best I ever got was 63mpg on a 70km trip, but it was absolute perfect warm up and highway conditions for it. Normally I get around 44mpg mixed city hwy. The furthest I ever got was 972km on the 50L of fuel. Today I was doing a 20km drive through the city and had a regen in there and I was getting 18.9mpg. They're not great city cars.
My daughter's boyfriend after seeing the video I'll go ahead and buy that car
Yeah! I've done it myself!!!
More impressed with the mpg than the acceleration
I just purchased this appreciate your review but when you turn that air filter box on if that’s gonna be squealing like that the whole time that’s not gonna work. I’m trying to take a nap and relax and that’s gonna be annoying. I’m not a person that requires white noise, what was your feeling about that?
Better results come from sanding and polishing than using this alone.
I really love the way this video looks with the interlacing
8.9
So the manual version is faster than the automatic?
Worst system ever created.. all those problem for 3-5 more mpgs😂😂
Not only do hybrid cars give you better mileage, they actually train you to be a better driver.
This music had me thinking he was coming to buff the rear end for a lonely housewife who wouldn’t have the cash to pay for the services… Joking aside, impressive bit of kit! I’ve just bought one after watching a few reviews and looking forward to having a go
Nice few mods a beast
This is much slower than the grand caravan
Worst car ever made lmao
The background music is irritating as hell, makes video unwatchable
Mine is rwd 5,1sec
I just bought a 2013 Dart in fantastic condition and low mileage, and it has a turbo 2ltr engine...I wonder if it's faster than this... it does pull pretty hard
Where did you route the bottom hose
Sounds awesome
Can any one tell me my car player is locked how i can unlocked it?
Im having a problem with .y auto stop
my car from 2.0 to 2.4.... worth it to upgrade even NA and cvt... how satisfying the top speed... i know the cost to fully 4b11t ralliart a bit expensive in my country malaysia... still enjoy
That 2.4 is a decent little DOHC engine.
Driving an EV is so different compared to a hybrid. I think I might prefer EV because you can accelerate hard and cruise to be efficient. You will earn most of that energy spent on acceleration by brake Regen.
I miss my spark 😢😢 I had to swerve to miss 2 deer in the road & smashed the front fender & they said it was gunna be $9000 & totaled it It was either hit the guardrail or have the deer come through the windshield
No music?

I love how it effortlessly keeps the torque converter locked while also keeping the rpm’s above 2k but never getting above 3k. It’s also strange how how Toyota’s 8 speed has a similar shift pattern, but yet Buick doesn’t seem to have the dead zone between 30-40 after the 1-2 shift, unlike Toyota.
the acceleration launch gave the impression of a CVT.. staying up in the revs for a while
I don’t have a problem with the wide, but I am tall. How tall are you, that seat fits well
This is not a fuel economy video. It's just him finding other ways not to replace a thermostat.
قطعت 368 كيلو متر واستهلكت سيارتي 30 لتر بنزين السيارة يارس أمريكي 2009 هل جيد أم غير جيد اتمنا الاجابه
Sweet ride . Hopefully she runs for a long time
And that's in the winter too with snow all around

I feel like directing a circular air flow grill would be the best solution to both problems. You would have wedged panels aiming towards the radiator from the top and bottom, making a direct flow into the radiator while pushing air out smoothly, that way air doesn't circulate through parts that don't need it
Best I ever did on a "50 miles out, 50 miles back" loop on the interstate (at 64mph) was 81mpg
U can leave it at gear 2 till 80
i was thinking of getting one of these as my first car as a teen, would that be a good idea or should I go for something more reliable?
