  Your Rose Ruffle Top is beautiful. Looking forward to its release. Did you know that the vintage fabric shows characters from the picture books by English author, Beatrix Potter? Peter Rabbit is my favourite and I can see Mrs Tiggywinkle and Jemima Puddleduck there, too. 🤗

  @@mipithelabel Yes, it’s a series of little story books for children. Real childhood classics in the UK. The Tale of Peter Rabbit has him stealing into Mr McGregor’s garden to eat lettuce and getting himself into a proper scrape. Beatrix Potter was an English author, illustrator and conservationist who published in the early 1900s. There’s a movie about her starring Rene Zellwegger.

  The whole Pressed Flower thing is Mosaic Knitting... Wasn't that originally desined by Andrea Mowry? Currently I am obsessed with Natasja Hornby and her Lunae Shawl. I am inspired to knit a Summer Top based on her designs. Wow, You are Super Talented!!! I really need to learn to Double Knit or try to make I Cord.

  I looove the look of the Poet Scarf. My mom usually wears silk scarves for her hair, and I'm think of making her one in KFO Pure Silk in black. I definitely also want to make one for myself, but I'm so stuck on what color I'd want. Also, your designs once again inspired me! Specifically the bag. I suddenly want a sun hat with ties to make a bow under my chin. Thinking of combining crochet and knitting. Maybe the ties will be lace?

  The video was too fast in some places for me to follow, but I might go ahead and try anyway. It seems simple enough and foolproof. My other sewed garments ended up unworn since the fit wasn't great. Worst case with this I need to redo the elastic a bit smaller or wider. =) Thanks for making this video!

  Bamboo blends are my absolute favorite summer yarn💛 they create such flowy fabrics with such a nice drape. It also has a bit of a shine to it so it gives some silk vibes ✨ I love to use Viking garn Bambino/Bamboo (bambino is a bit thinner and bamboo is a bit thicker) 🌸

  I made up the Arewa short sleeve pullover by Kunbi Ayo-Okanlawon this year and love it. I used a cotton/linen blend yarn from Patons and it worked out really well.

  I have a short sleeved cashmere cardigan, basically looks the exact same as the Maggie cardigan but then with a v-neck. I actually do get a ton of use out of it because it is perfect for cooler Dutch summer days, or when I in the evening want to wear something a bit warmer but not put on my thick fleece hoodie

  I’m looking at the Thea Top by PaulaStrickt since I have it in my library and it’s worsted weight yarn. There’s a Berroco KAL starting June 1st though that I want to join so I bought three of their summer shirt patterns with at least one in worsted weight (Marisol shirt) so I can finish within the allotted time. There are so many fun patterns that I want to knit but we only have so much time in the day.

  Can't go wrong with a basic top, and I love the yarn that the Berroco Marisol is knit with! Smart to go with a worsted weight pattern, even without sleeves, summer knits can feel loooong! 🤣

  We were lucky to find that our local restaurant supply store had used steam pans at a very reasonable price. You might mention it, but it's good to add in that acid dyes makes pans and equipment/tools non-food safe. You should have equipment that you use only for dying, never for preparing food Also, when using powder dyes it's important to use a respirator mask!

  The Eleonora Dress is very cute (I love your version) but agree the pattern is quite expensive so I bought the Willa Dress by Rosie Caldwell which was released a few weeks before the Eleonora dress and is practically identical but cheaper. It also has nice details like a skirt hem facing, which I think looks very professional, and she has a sew along for it on her KZread channel. Not sure how it compares to the Eleonora in exact details but the finished dresses look really similar and the video is really clear and helpful.
