This looks so delicious! I literally just ordered it from a restaurant- $45 for 7 shrimps! 😭😭 Im not sure what shrimp to buy? No where sells fresh shrimp.. can it be frozen shrimp that I let thaw out or is that bad? I would pay you to make me this and to teach me! 😂❤

You can buy frozen shrimp 🍤. I do all the time. Just rinse it until it's thawed.

I'm on day 3 but have not yet done the day 3 boil. Most of my sweet potatoes and all of the squash pieces are mushy. The hardened shell is not holding them together. The water has broken up bits of potato and squash floating int it. What did I do wrong?

Are the camotes suppose to turn black while being in the water with the cal?

They get a little spotty at times if they are not 100% covered and got exposed to the air, but just remove that particular spot if you don't feel comfortable.
