Over The Seas

Over The Seas

We are Madhuri and Pradeep, a couple from Hyderabad, India. We are staying in Taiwan for 4+ years. Through this channel, we help our viewers to explore Taiwan and other parts of the world as we go, one place at a time. We want to inspire people to get out of their comfort zone, take risks, and start their own voyage, no matter where they work.
When we first came to Taiwan, we rarely had any knowledge of what we are getting into. Hence. we also make videos on general topics related to Taiwan, so that foreigners coming to Taiwan would have a basic idea about life here.

Personal Info:
Apart from the KZread Channel, I am doing my masters in International Business. I work part-time as a social media manager. I used to work in IT when we were in Hyderabad. Pradeep is a full-time dance instructor in True yoga. He used to work in the Tollywood film industry as an assistant choreographer and background dancer. We are also certified as yoga teachers (RYT-200).

    This particular celebration is not open to the public. But there are diwali celebrations which are much more amazing than this one which are open to the public as well. There was a diwali event at a Riverside Park, and once there was a diwali event on a cruise, and so on....You can definitely join those. ❤️

    Hey, what all cities would you recommend visiting in June?

  • @OverTheSeas
    @OverTheSeasАй бұрын

    It is rainy season during June. But, it only rains for an hour or 2 (hopefully). Since the weather in the whole of Thailand is almost the same, we would still recommend Bangkok, Phuket, and Krabi. Our suggestion is to choose phuket for parties, Krabi for island tours, Bangkok for food, Chiangmai for temples, Ko Samui for water sports, Ayutthaya- Sukhothai for history.

    bringing leftover food from restaurents is not at all WEIRD !!! many indians do that ...we do that since ages

  • @OverTheSeas
    @OverTheSeas4 ай бұрын

    I do appreciate people taking their unfinished food! But unfortunately, I do not know someone who does that! Most of the indian people I know and hang out with usually order only as much as they can eat, and in case they leave the food, it only means that they did not like it. So, that would mean no point in carrying it back to home. You should be in a great company if people bring leftover food. If they don't want to eat it, at least someone else can.

  • @OverTheSeas
    @OverTheSeas5 ай бұрын

    No, 900 TBH for a single tiger! But each cell has 2 tigers, so if one of them is sleeping we get a chance to meet the other one! Because they don't wake up the sleeping tiger. But 900 TBH is for 10 to 12 minutes of duration, so he let us meet the other because the first one was feeling sleepy within the initial 2 or 3 minutes.

    IELTS is not required unless your medium of education is some other language apart from English. If that is the case, you need to write IELTS. But if your graduation medium is English, you just need a certificate from the University that whole course was taught in English. IELTS is just to check whether you are able to write, read, speak, and listen to English up to the required level, so it is not used as a selection criteria. Hope this answers your question
