Most of the time religious places are considered big business places for the food market, but here is completely different. it's amazing.

My parents are also devoted followers of the goddess Mazu, and they participate in the annual pilgrimage procession.

Hi Sis, I saw your old vlog regarding moving to Taiwan and expenses. we are a couple from Bangalore with no kids, and pure veg, I am getting offer of 80000 Taiwanese dollar. my wife will come on dependent visa. so, I wanted to know that how much money we can save after, accommodation(1bhk) groceries, Transporation cost, health insurance, mobile and broadband charges, electricity bill and everything we need monthly. also, will we feel bored after some months of stay in Taiwan. SORRY for long question. please answer 😊.

@rajjha7181 Offer of 80,000 NTD is good to begin with. As a couple, you will spend around 15k to 20k if you go for a studio room (kind of 1 bhk in taiwan). The bills like electricity and water may accumulate up to 4k. But you have to make a wise decision because the studio rooms do not have stoves. They just provide you with an induction stove. Since you are vegetarian, you would want to cook at home. Indian food is expensive, but if you quickly adapt to taiwanese vegetarian food, you will save a lot. You are in Taipei, so you have a lot of options. Taipei has metro, so transportation is cheaper and may cost around 3k NTD. Employer will provide health insurance. We pay 1399 NTD for 5G and 499 NTD for 4G unlimited mobile internet. Broadband is provided by the owner if you opt for a studio room. Groceries and veggies are expensive, and they might be 2X or 3X of that in India. You might be able to save 15k to 20k NTD.

@@OverTheSeas Thanks a lot Sis for such detailed answer, you gave me a good idea about everything. But I was thinking of renting a 1bhk with kitchen, because kitchen is required if we are cooking mostly and can't be dependent on induction, so that might cost more money, let's see how things goes. Thanks again. 🙂
