Do you have an international drivers permit and do you have any encounter with the cops?

We did have an international permit, but they collect 5000 Baht as a safety deposit. They don't really care whether you have an international permit or not, especially in tourist spots like this (unless you get yourself into a situation where intervention of cops is required like accident, overspending, etc).

Trust me we did not eat Indian food. Just by looking at the Indian food made us feel closer to home. Yet, Indian food tastes the best in India. We tried Thai food while in Thailand. It's yummy 🤤
