We brought the retro handheld for £170.95 There was no sign of them shipping it, so we asked when it would be shipped, their response was, that they wanted us to pay another £60 on top of the listed price of £170.95. Very little in way of apology, no explanation as to why. They did very kindly offer us a free screen protector as compensation if we paid the higher price, (I think already comes one as the manufacturer lists it as coming with a free screen protector) They are very slow and replying to emails I had to call them to get a refund processed. I am unhappy with the whole experience

Here, after getting a new to me 2023 GPD win mini that I've been impressed with. The bigger screen is great but it seems less suited to 'handheld' gaming?
In terms of weight, it's about 300g heavier than a Steam Deck, with a much bigger footprint. It's definitely handheld, but not recommended to play on it laying down in bed (Not to drop it on your face) -CS
Are you able to use odin 2 as a tv box as well, kind of like Netflix? And does it handle multiple controller gameplay, like 4 person mario kart?
Yeah you could use it like an Android TV box and play videos etc just fine. Netflix and other official media apps probably will not work as devices need to be approved themselves by Netflix, BBC, ITV etc. This is down to AYN to do so probably for cost reasons it wont happen. You can connect additional controllers as well, Bluetooth or if you have the dock USB will work fine as well.

The kickstand is fairly light, it wont add much extra weight.
Where to buy 4tb variant
I really like it, you can change the cppu power to use 9.5wand the battery literally doubles to around 8 hours with light usage.
Yeah these 8840U CPUs are great for that. If you are doing light office work etc you can get some very high battery life.

@@DroiX_Store Excellent news. I've ordered a OneXGPU for my UM780XTX, mainly to play normal Steam flat screen titles, but I'm hopeful to be able to play Alyx and some other VR titles. I had a HX99G and that could play Alyx on medium settings, so the better GPU hopefully will give me more headroom. I also have a Crystal Light on order, and want to know if the Display Port on the eGPU will work with it. I can't see why not, but you never know. Any tests around this concept or set up would be greatly appreciated, and I'm sure interesting to your viewers.

May I ask if this GPD G1 eGPU docking station would work well with a DELL Laptop Latitude 5520? The Laptop has the following relevant specs: 11th Gen Intel Core i71185G7 @ 3.00 Ghz 32 GB RAM
According to the specs it has two Thunderbolt 4 ports so it should work fine with it.

If you cant see the issue, have a newer Win 4 model etc then do not install this mod. It only affected the early batch of 6800U Win 4 models.

But why run games at lowest graphics settings? The point is to show how much you can push them, not how low.
For the benchmarks, we test many different devices from different generations so we have a base line to compare them with over different generation to show the increases. Some less advanced devices are not able to run at higher resolutions and graphics settings. This is why we later show games running at their best settings on the reviewed devices, in this video it is in the Final Thoughts part.

The TDP settings etc should work. If I remember right there might be the macro buttons do not work, but otherwise it should be fine.

Can this be used as a PC if connected to a lapdock in a pinch?... I solely work on Samsung dex via a lapdock... rarely needing Windows... so if needed, can I use this?
If the lapdock has USB or HDMI input then you could use it like a portable monitor. I think these monitors only work wirelessly with Dex though?
@DroiX_Store actually they have HDMI input and wireless (for Dex)... might bite the bullet and get one for gaming and "lite" PC usage when needed... thnks alot for your kind reply...

Battery stats are at 2:49 and after threre's fan noise and thermals. Compared to 2023 model, we got around 15 min extra. But do keep in mind the drivers have improved over time so there may be some differences now.
They need to make a GPD WIN 4 lite I hope the screen is not heavy as it was
I have GPD win 4 the only biggest complain I have on this handheld is the front Screen it’s heavy no wonder the whole handheld is heavy 😢 they should’ve of made it lite like Nintendo Switch
