  Overpriced, I can get a similar lock from Chine for 1/3 of the cost. A lock from China will work anywhere, but Yale carves up the market to keep prices high. Locks bought in the US won't work in the rest of the world bc they lock down the apps. I foolishly bought a lock in the US, took it back to HK to use only to discover it won't work with the app for this region, and they won't help me get the USA app. The lock from China has fingerprint reader, camera, app and even a card reader like hotels use, under $100. This is a book brainer.

  Subscribed and liked the video. Your set up is so eerily close to mine. I've got a question though. Does the BenQ light bar assist during zoom/teams video calls? I've got a desk lamp, but that's taking up some space and I'm thinking of what to replace it with.

  Thank you! I haven't done a ton of video calls on this setup. On the few that I have done I will say it helps a little bit but the light mainly shines straight down on your desk. So if your goal is to shine some light on you during a video call there are better options available for that.

  For my Yale I can have it autolock between sertain times. For my part I have activated autolock in the nighttime. If I forget to lock the door in the evening, it will lock it for me. If I'm home late, it will lock it immediately when I'm inside. At daytime, it's set to not autolock. I guess you can use the autolock in the same way with this model?

  That's interesting you can have auto lock and Auto Unlock setup during specific time periods. I don't see that option for this model.

  I only have one question. I work from home and must use a VPN. Will Starlink drop my VPN when it changes satellites? .

  I haven't seen that as an issue anywhere online. Most people bypass Starlink and use their own router for using a VPN. Starlink says this about VPN, "Starlink supports VPNs that use TCP or UDP. SSL based VPNs typically work best to traverse CGNAT. NAT traversal support is required by the VPN"

  question: do I have to pay (subscription) to hear the doorbell rings on my phone? I installed this one and there is no sound going to my phone when someone rings the doorbell.

  If someone rings your doorbell you shouldn't need a subscription to get a notification for that. You might just need to check your notification settings on your phone.

  Thanks for such a great video. We went from 4-5Mbs with AT&T DSL to 30-50 MBs with T-Mobile 5G to 100-200 MBs with Starlink. Needless to say, AT&T and T-Mobile are now history.

  This would have been my choice of doorbell camera had Google not increased the subscription rate by a huge amount. I had the previous gen 1 and I had no problems with it. Since moving, I needed a new doorbell camera. I purchased the Eufy E340 instead and while not as slick looking as the Google Gen 2, there are no monthly fees and it works just as well. There's no point in buying the Google Gen 2.

  I used to have the room all white and the lights looked brighter when reflecting off the walls. However, they still show well on the dark walls. I haven't really noticed a difference with the spaciousness of the room, two of the walls are still white.

  I have the 1st gen and the sun beats on it from about 2pm until sunset. It is only just under three years old and the front clear portion has cracked and is peeling all off the unit. Looks like the 2nd gen is built with a different material so it may hold up longer for me. I am going to give it a try since I do enjoy the google doorbell.

  Lower resolution and portrait mode (Aspect ration) is deal-breaker for me, as I use the google nest hub to view the camera video. Disappointed in this doorbell camera.

  I prefer the Tread vs. the Tread Plus. Tread Plus costs twice as much as the Tread and I don't think there are enough better features on the Tread Plus to justify the cost difference.

  Excellent video. Ours only has some slowdowns when it pours very heavily and the Dishy also tends to do auto heating at that time even if it is not freezing outside. It truly is an excellent solution for those of us who cannot get on fiber line.

  Woodway or Peloton Tread+ is the way to go. Belted treadmills aren’t great. Every tread moves some, including all the ones you’ve run on.

  Thanks! Didn't use any drywall anchors, just screwed directly into the wall. I did screw into the studs on the lower part and upper part of the of the panels for a better hold.

  I bought this lock and it continually failed to auto lock - leaving my door unlocked for severa days. the calibration kept failing though I did nothing to cause that. Yale admitted there was a problem with their app and it would take a month to fix. I paid a lot for this stupid lock and now I'm throw it out and go with the cheaper non-wifi lock
