What causes our inflation? What has actually been done to stop the causes of inflation? NOTHING has been done.
People don't understand money. The more debt the govts have entered into the more money there is. If people want houses to be less then taxes, which a siphon, need to increase. Govts could be in surplus and we wouldn't have as high a price, if they are in deficit then we have the money. The story of whether you have job, is a myth as taxes don't pay for anything.

Crypto's (any) is for speculation only. Its not money ... let alone a store of value. Nor is it a productive asset. And implying that its 'safe' as some have in the past is utter nonsense. The up and downramps of currency conversion (aka Dollar / Euro > BTC) can be shut down by (any) bank at the behest of the policy / lawmakers. And sure the valuation can go up to even 100 million dollars or more per BTC. Fiat money is as valuable as toiletpaper.

If the internet goes down or if there is a nationwide shut down of the internet or even the electricity grid then you can't access your Bitcoin. You can always access your gold because you physically have it. Whoever controls the internet controls you when you hold bitcoin. If you don't hold it, you don't own it.
