The IC Title was folded in Oct 02 at No Mercy . Austin brought it back at Judgment Day 03 . And then retired in 11 .

I’m surprised that this one is actually different from the image Lana posted of a new European title back in 2014. I wonder if they made that version as well or if WWE requested a modern design from multiple belt makers?

Agreed with some of what you said, definitely not your opinions on bret hart as a performer. Completely disagree on that viewpoint/assessment as do most active main roster wwe talents today who also think he was the greatest, but like you said it's your opinion. I love this belt and Bret is my all time favorite and you're right it is a must have for me. I also love the pink heart shaped stones and there's 4 of them representing the 4 hearts on his gear and the 4 dots in his autograph (for his 4 kids). Agreed on the chains being the best part. The lettering on the main plate itself was a bret hart logo during his career which is a nice image. I disagree with the hbk legacy title looking better than this since to me that legacy title center just looks like Shawn's rear end lol. Also love how the excellence and execution sideplates are big sunglasses in addition to the skulls below wearing sunglasses. The spot in the snap box on the left in black is a perfect spot for his autograph too. It's by far my favorite legacy belt design but admittedly I'm biased since I am a diehard bret hart fan, can't wait till mine arrives!
In my opinion I think the WWE Legacy championship belt is getting way out of hand , i’m sorry, but it is really getting out of hand .. they just needed to stick with selling the replica championship belt you seen on TV from the 80s, 90s, 00s to where we are now .

Think there were two sets of plates made. I bought one set from Dan back in 2013 and had it releathered by Mike Nicolau and there’s another one that was for sale a couple years ago one Dan’s leather. But I do miss that belt it was one of my favorite when I had it in my collection
As much as is great to honor the legends of the business with these legacy belt. WWE Shop should focus on getting in all the old championship belt in. Championships like from WCW, ECW, the old WWF and WWE. Even the old territories of NWA, AWA etc that WWE has acquired over the years. Every design, every title. And I kid you not, that would make some serious money for WWE. So many titles that a belt collector would love to add to their collection.

That might possibly be the WORST legacy belt I've ever seen. Bret is my favorite ever and i want absolutely ZERO part of this.

Now every title has side plates so every wrestler can have their own plates and WWE can make more money. WWE won’t miss a dollar, you can bet on that.

My favorite is the version Trump carried to the ring for the main event at Wrestlemania 4. As a child that visual made the belt look so prestigious.
I personally would have loved an all gold winged eagle with a pink strap and black globe. Bret was the most synonymous with the winged eagle in my opinion so it would have been perfect

well if it was a real belt it would have a real belt price tag these are just cheap alternatives for people who can't afford a real custom themed championship belt

I always thought it was interesting that the title didn’t have a company logo, prior to WWE. It made it seem like the title was more important than any other title, regardless of promotion.
Sad because it was originally made for the NWA, though the letters were smaller when Ric Flair dabuted with it.
Someone should go by the Copyright to it lol
