And in your other "FOOTWORK" videos you are trying to teach people to stay in a square boxed stance to then cross there feet into a more traditional normal stance then to top it off you show to adopt a stance where both of your feet are together???? This is the biggest load of bullshitto I've ever seen on the face of KZread. You haven't explained any of stances you are switching to as in what you might use them for what side most of your power/leverage will come from where your weight should be in that particular stance. Unbelievable I genuinely hope no one actually tries any of this in a organised fight or heaven forbid a street fight. Stay safe stay aware

These are just Basic, just worry about your own training. Even tho some of the Muay boran style was influence by silat.

  • @ben-nz1qi

@@hotpopcorncake training isn't something to start worrying about, these basics are flawed and bad basics mean anything built on that is useless, you wouldn't climb a ladder that's falling apart trusting that the top of the ladder is in better condition than the bottom where you started. I am genuinely concerned tho that you perceived training as something to worry about.

@@ben-nz1qi TMA is basically the Blue prints to Martial arts, like at least of some respect to the culture and the arts. Just becuase you watch few basic videos that doesn't make it "flawed and bad" Just look at capoeira it's may seen useless to you. But make sure Saenchai has done cartwheel kicks that may look like "useless" Muay Boran and Capoeira kicks. Or "sport" UFC machida karate has KO people with the karate Crane kick. Like let everyone do their journey to Martial art. if I want to do Tai chi is not because I wanted to do because its affective. maybe I maybe want slow down Age and meet some gilf. Maybe I learn something out of this art, So chillax out withe arbitrator of Martial arts act.

@@hotpopcorncake do you have any idea how many martial arts claim to be the blue prints? Ye alot. And all the points you've made regarding the effectiveness of certain strikes being used cross combat sports doesn't make any sense they have practicality, doesn't have anything to do with the bullshitto in this short clip. Teaching people to elbow a knife isn't a good idea and same with the footwork. none shows practical use. Karate yes Bjj yes Capo yes Because they are used today practically not this bullshitto. I'm just warning people not to watch a short video and think they can take down a knife wielding cunt doesn't work like that chief the only journey you'll be taking is to an early grave thinking you can pull this off after watching a short. This shit gets people hurt, I'm not telling anyone what to train I'm telling you to go to a gym and learn not the Internet.

This "FOOTWORK" isn't actually doing anything, you aren't changing the angle of attack for yourself or your opponent. Infact your staying the same distance before the movement just with a side profile literally exposing your kidney because your body is bladed. I don't have time to go through how useless this is but what I will tell anyone watching this is just go to a combat sports gym and learn from professionals, I'd suggest muay Thai has a bit of everything bar ground game. Do not get yourselves hurt listening to this utter bollocks, watch a real breakdown on footwork mater the basics then try to learn how to change angles otherwise you will look like the bloke in this video. Stay safe stay aware
