    i doubt a Maduranese ( East Java ) carry a Karambit, they usually carry " Clurit " everywhere 😅

    Unfortunately we can’t carry the celurit here in the US.

    ​@EdgedTacticalSystems there's no law in Louisiana that says you can't carry a sickle.... which is pretty much what a celurit is😉🤫👍. Of course, one might garner strange looks.

    @@EdgedTacticalSystems indeed. However, I do carry a folding kerambit, the knife laws of louisiana are very laxed - which is I good thing. It has so many uses as a defense even when not opened. Love your videos by the way.👍👍

    Since I started learning Silat, I've begun to carry a karambit as my EDC, primarily because I can hide well in my hand before having to deploy. Some wicked slashes in the demo with a double-edged karambit, the opponent is going to bleed out, especially in the last technique. Good stuff 💯

    How does one work on the thumb strength to keep the flipping strike from recoiling back?

    Great question, doing push ups with just the finger tips and finally gradually to the thumb and pointer finger will build serious strength in your thumbs.
