Are you nuts. Refrigerant pressures are going to change with temperature. Use nitrogen! And rls fittings are good for 700 psi and 200 degrees. Testing at 235psi. Or less ........ glad you got a free press kit out of the deal.
Yeah I explained all that, I'm not running a system at 700 psi so don't need to go that high and I used refrigerant to use the leak detector. But yeah thanks for stopping by 👋🏽
Just don't forget to take the cap off😂
You have the list for the reference textbooks ? If yes can you pass it. I’ve bought multiple college textbooks. Working on my EPA.
Pls link where i can buy now?
You suck you look like a weirdo
C&D valve core removal tool hasn't failed me
🔥🔥🔥
Appreciate knowledge I come across these at Chick-fil-A restaurant.
Nice
I bought mine yesterday and they already have rust lol
Hate that Nylog....If you forget to close the cap that shit leaks all over you toolboxes when they get in the hot sun.
I’ve been having the same issues with my appions…it always does that bs
It does have a Schrader. I’ve had a bunch of problems with these Russel eco net units
We try to start up one today had issues we had to bypass the low pressure switch
Transducers always check those when you have those When you start the unit and the valve move they work go with the board
Good info on the intelligen setup. Are those sensors 10k NTC or PTC? Most sensors I have come across are NTC sensors. Great video big man!
Thanks for the ideas.
Wish it had a check value
Hola Adrian ... Good little vid ... Thx
Core removal tool? I didn’t know that even existed I just use a core tip screw driver given to me By the local supply house Just make sure area is clear put a brick in the Core path and let it rip
How You can do it under pressure?
The plastic on those jb gauges suck had three develop crack's and break.
I use Appion for my evacuations and reinstalling cores only, for it's vacuum rated body. Not a service tool for replacing cores under pressure. The NAVAC core tool has been ok so far
Pressure transducers go out all the time cause false readings had on 20 psi off causing unit to run 10-15 defrosts a day on demand defrost Key rule whenever there’s a transducer always verify pressures n superheat with your gauges the EEV will always maintain 10 so if it’s off check that first
Thank you so much. Very good review.👍
Good information I put in two Russell econet system last year and have had no issues ( I like them but all brands can be improved) Shame to hear you had issues with the JB gauges, I’ve noticed some weird quirks with mine but so far I lean to them more than testo.
Seems like our mutual customer has their suppler changed from heatcraft to russel now. Ive also installed a few of these russels this year. Slightly bigger evap. But i havent ran into any issues yet. Thanks for the info about the limp mode.
If the Russell is like the Heatcraft the EEV is opened at install as long as you don't turn the evaporator on so you can pressure test and pull a vacuum
You should post some commercial kitchen equipment videos
I despise the Appion's never has worked in years of use....I always blow it out with the gas pressure.
It's a learning curve adrian
Nice little chat Adrian ... Thx
Did you pull the suction pressure transducer off when pressure testing? That will cause damage to the transducer depending on how high you test. These “new” systems like Intelligen, Beacon II, etc, are my favorite to work on, if installed properly, I have the least issues with them out of all the equipment I work on.
No we tested the linesets separate before hooking up the equipment and I just did a vacuum test once installed. But good point, you gotta be aware you can damage these things with high pressure. I like installing them but as far as intelligen it's motors unplugging cuz they just hang down and boards working for a month or so and then randomly just stop sending signal to the eev, never got an answer as to why tho. Russell I've just had sensors going out within the first year
It ain’t talking bad if it’s the truth
Good point
Sometimes there's a Schrader under the transducer, sometimes not. You can just let it off cycle pump down and swap it with the residual pressure and not have to pull a vacuum. Those EEVs use either the pressure or temperature inputs as a "limp home" strategy should either one fail. It's meant to get you out of a jam and keep the box operating until you get it replaced. All this electronic crap will never outlast a conventional TXV and mechanical controls. That's 90% of my work-repairing new stuff.
Yeah at least it'll be easy to swap. Yup we still buy the conventional stuff and I've never been called back to those 😂
Did it have liquid injection? I've gotten those and the service valve for it be closed. Even though they hang a tag on it that says "All valves are open".
No actually. They have a freezer here with a scroll and that one does have liquid inject but not this one
@@ReliableHVACR yeah Ive only seen them on low temp. I figured out you were talking about a cooler when you said the box temp. Look out for that though if you have a compressor that's overheating. I've had it before.
👍🤘🤙
Gloves haha don't make me laugh hahaha ty tho
But they don't sell it on Amazon 🤔🤔
SAE is not standard, metric is standard. America is the only one using SAE.
Well I live in America 😂
@@ReliableHVACR well, i guess the pond does look like a ocean if you never knew better.
@@Tdww you act like I make the rules here 😂 it is what it is
Last resort - call in Priest with holy water.... 😂😂😂
That's a nice set of tools. I'm going to add an imager to my list. I like the HT flashlight too.
Behind the eight ball as always. Especially when I'm not able to make my own schedule.
I am running through this same issue right now and have replaced two valves because it would not close, going to replace the board after watching your video. thanks bro! lets see
11:00 Preparing to braze. The inside of the piping to be brazed is filled with air. Steps should be taken to fill the piping and compressor with nitrogen to replace the air. Otherwise, the oxidation visible on the outside of the piping after brazing will also be inside the piping after brazing. This dirties up the system and the compressor oil. Not Good.
Yup, always purge with nitrogen just like I did. Thanks
I do both, commercial is way harder and you gotta put your big boy pants on
What does the warranty covers? What? They will give you a new fitting ?🤷♂️😂
Look at the compressor.. its been flooding
Yeah with the contactor welded shut it ran that compressor into the ground
I believe the Fieldpiece has the best built vctr, followed by the JB. I have Appion and Uniweld and I like the later better
👍👍
I have the design drawn up, just need to get the parts to make a ladder crane. Cheap version will just use a gear reduction boat winch, more expensive will use a small powered winch. Roping up compressors are always fun. Good video brother!
more it cost is nothing but greed , sorry but cheap china is all they are , buy the cheap one. unless you do 10 a day. ac scammers
I broke a cheap one 😂
